This 1966 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova is powered by a 383ci V8 backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. It features upgrades including HID headlights, 17-inch American Racing wheels, Hedman headers, HEI ignition, a Quick Fuel 4-barrel carburetor, and a new master cylinder. The cabin is equipped with aftermarket gauges and an aftermarket radio connected to 6" x 9" speakers. Finished in Artesian Turquoise over a turquoise vinyl interior, this Nova is now offered by the selling dealer with its uninstalled standard headlights, original radio, visors, alternator, and other parts and a clear title.
Introduced as a 1962 model, the Chevy II used the General Motors X-body platform and was available in a variety of body styles. In 1966, the model moved into its second generation and received a new grille, vertical taillights, and a semi-fastback roofline. This Nova hardtop from that model year is refinished in its original color of Artesian Turquoise and features aftermarket HID headlights. Brightwork is described as being in great shape and includes the front and rear wraparound bumpers, grille, door handles, fuel filler door, window surrounds, side mirrors, and trunk accent bar.
The 17-inch five-spoke American Racing wheels are wrapped in blackwall radial tires.
The interior is fitted with turquoise vinyl bucket front seats and rear bench seating matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include a center console, black lap belts and floor mats, a reportedly functional aftermarket stereo connected to 6" x 9" speakers, manual windows, and a floor-mounted manual shifter topped with a white cueball-style knob. According to the seller, the seats appear to be in good condition and the front and rear seat belts are still intact.
Standard instrumentation consists of a sweeping 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. An aftermarket Summit Racing 8K-rpm tachometer is mounted to the A-pillar and auxiliary gauges under the dash show the voltage, oil pressure, amps, and coolant temperature. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 72K miles, but true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 383ci V8, Hedman headers, HEI ignition, Quick Fuel 4-barrel carburetor, aluminum radiator, and new dual-circuit master cylinder are housed in an engine bay trimmed with chrome accents. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 4-speed manual transmission.

@19Belair55 – Can you confirm that the rear end is a 10 bolt and not a 12 bolt? How much horsepower is the 383 making? ...
That is a 10 bolt rear, as for the seat pattern the car came into us just the way you see it. I'm assuming previous owner had the front seat covers replaced at some point. Previous owner estimated hp at around 400. When driving it quite frankly it feels like more than that!

Can you tell me why the seat cover pattern is different on the back seat and the front bucket seats? Any update on the transmission model? Looks to be a Muncie but is it a M20, M21, or M22?
