This restored 1946 Ford coupe street rod is powered by a rebuilt 350ci V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Features include power rack and pinion steering, a tilt steering column, power windows, power disc brakes, air conditioning, and an aftermarket stereo. This red Ford with a new gray cloth interior is available now and comes with a clear Florida title.
The red exterior features chrome bumpers, frenched headlights, a shaved upper grille and hood, dual taillights, shaved door and trunk handles, and a V-butt windshield. Additional features include chrome mirror housings, one-piece door glass, pop-out quarter windows, and a 1949 Chevrolet license plate guard mounted to the rear bumper.
A set of polished aluminum Weld Prostar wheels is wrapped in staggered-size radial tires.
The front bucket seats and the rear bench seat are upholstered in gray cloth. Features include gray cloth rear trim and door panels, body-color window sills, a matching custom-made metal dashboard, power windows, power steering, power brakes, a tilt steering column, and a custom-made center console with aftermarket stereo and climate controls.
A set of white-faced analog VDO gauges including a 120-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure are mounted in a custom-made aluminum panel ahead of the driver. The digital odometer reads 45,630 miles, but the true mileage on the vehicle is unknown.
Power is provided by a rebuilt 350ci V8 engine backed by an automatic transmission. Features include a body-color alternator and air conditioning compressor, ball-milled aluminum valve covers, aluminum spark plug wire separators, a polished aluminum Holley air cleaner, HEI ignition, and tube headers.
The seller reports the undercarriage is in great condition and has very little rust on it.
