OVERVIEW
This 1967 Chevrolet El Camino is powered by a 350ci V8 backed by a Tremec T-5 five-speed manual transmission. Features include power steering, Dynamat sound-damping material, a spray-in bed liner, a big-block hood, a remote driver-side mirror, and several new parts. Finished in metallic maroon with gold stripes over a new black vinyl interior, this reportedly rust-free El Camino is available now and comes from the selling dealer with new uninstalled parts, additional components detailed below, and a clear Washington title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior is finished in metallic maroon with gold side accent stripes. Features include chrome bumpers with chrome bumper guards, an aluminum grille, a big-block hood, dual sport mirror housings with a manual remote driver-side mirror, rocker trim, a new rear window, and a bed liner. The selling dealer states that there is some paint fade and dings, including a flat spot on a rear quarter panel that is about six inches by two feet. An exterior walk-around video can be seen below.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of polished aluminum wheels with Chevrolet center caps is wrapped in radial tires. The seller states that the front tires are new.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The bench seat has been reupholstered in black vinyl. Features include new black vinyl door panels with manual windows, a floor-mounted manual transmission shifter, power steering, manual brakes, and Dynamat sound-damping material. Newly installed parts include the carpeting, door handles, rubber seals for the doors and windows, seat belts, and armrests.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge are mounted ahead of the driver. An auxiliary gauge is mounted underneath the dashboard. The odometer reads 16,717 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 and backed by a 1989 Camaro-sourced Tremec T-5 five-speed manual transmission. Engine bay features include chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake, and a chrome air cleaner. An oil change was completed within the last six months.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This El Camino was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A new full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear. The selling dealer states that new floor pans and brakes have been installed.
