1989 PONTIAC FIREBIRD

OVERVIEW

This 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA is powered by a 305ci V8 combined with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a WS6 performance suspension, four-wheel disc brakes, a Delco stereo system, and 16-inch wheels with Goodyear tires. Finished in metallic burgundy over a tan leather interior, this third-generation Firebird is now offered by the selling dealer with a clean CARFAX report and a clear West Virginia title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The metallic burgundy body has color-coordinated bumpers and ground effects. Exterior features include pop-up headlights, fog lamps, a vented hood, gold accent pinstriping, a rear spoiler, and a dual exhaust system.

Gold 16-inch cross-spoke wheels with polished lips are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle GT II tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES  

The 2+2 cockpit is furnished with tan leather high-back bucket seats up front and dual seats in the rear, matched to the door panels, carpeting, and floor mats. The dash, steering wheel, and center console are finished in black. Amenities include a Delco AM/FM/cassette audio system with an equalizer, audio controls on the steering wheel, air conditioning, map pockets, power windows, power-adjustable mirrors, and cruise control.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, an 8K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges that show the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 62,492 miles, which is the same as the CARFAX report's most recent mileage entry dated January 2023. A potential odometer rollover is noted in 2001.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power from the 305ci V8 is transferred to the rear wheels via a console-shifted five-speed manual transmission. In January, this Trans Am received an oil change along with new wiper blades and a tire rotation.
