Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1964 Ford F250 Custom Cab is powered by a Ford Galaxie-sourced 427ci V8 backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a Police Interceptor Package, a four-way emergency flasher system, a Mico Brake Lock system, dual fuel tanks, a Jensen stereo with Apple CarPlay and a backup camera, LED headlights and taillights, and a dual-tank air compressor system. Finished in Wimbledon White over a black vinyl and cloth interior, this F250 is available now and comes with shop and owner's manuals, the original fire extinguisher, the original black California license plate, the original dealership key chain, and a clear South Carolina title in the seller's name.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The exterior is finished in the factory-applied Wimbledon White paint (color code M), according to the seller. Features include accent body pinstriping, door logos, a chrome front bumper, an aluminum grille, LED headlights, dual side mirrors, a long bed with a locking storage compartment, and a rear step bumper. The seller states that there are minor scratches in the paint from general use.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of 16.5-inch eight-lug aluminum wheels is wrapped in 33” x 12.50” Goodyear Wrangler HT radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The bench seat is upholstered with black vinyl and striped cloth for the seating area. Features include zippered storage compartments, manual windows, a Jensen stereo with Apple CarPlay and a backup camera, manual steering and brakes, a Mico Brake Lock system, an emergency four-way lighting system, a dual fuel tank switch, an onboard dual-tank air compressor, and a column-mounted automatic shifter.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 8,941 miles, but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 427ci V8 from a 1963 Ford Galaxie (block code: C3AE J 6090-J) that was installed when the truck had 98,000 miles and is backed by a three-speed automatic transmission. Engine bay features include dual air horns, chrome valve covers, an aluminum intake with dual four-barrel carburetors, a finned aluminum air cleaner, and cast iron exhaust headers. The seller states that a new battery, an electronic starter, a new fuel filter, and new spark plugs were installed in May 2022.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Ford truck was factory equipped with a 3/4-ton suspension including a solid I-beam front axle and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drums. A dual exhaust system exits ahead of the rear axle.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The seller will include shop and owner's manuals, the original fire extinguisher, the original black California license plate, and the original dealership key chain, as part of the sale.

As it has the gallery from what I see, the screw in freeze plugs and the 3 bolts for the crankshaft I would say its a real 427 Sideoiler.

@AutoHunter_Info – Hello, after conducting some additional research, we have concluded that based on photos provided by the seller showing the plug on the engine, that this is a side oiler 427ci V8. We do not have any documentation to support, but this is our best assumption. We hope this helps to clarify! Happy bidding! ...

Thank you
