OVERVIEW
This 1963 Ford Falcon Futura is powered by a 302ci V8 backed by a TREMEC T-5 five-speed manual transmission. Features include bucket seats, manual steering and front disc brakes, upgraded digital AM/FM stereo, air conditioning, electronic ignition and custom wheels. Finished in Ming Green with black vinyl interior, this Falcon is available now and comes from the seller with a clear Ontario (Canada) title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
The exterior has been refinished in the original color of Ming Green (code D). Features include chrome bumpers, aluminum grille, fender ornamentation, fender-mounted antenna, dual rear-view mirrors, Sprint badges and side trim with white insert. The seller states that the paint is in good condition and the pictures indicate a few flaws, but overall it is clean and in very good condition.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of 17-inch chrome wheels is wrapped in new 235/45Z/R17 radial tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The front bucket seats and rear seat are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include manual brakes and steering, air conditioning, floor-mounted shifter, center console, manual windows, custom three-spoke steering wheel and an AM/FM stereo.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The instrument panel consists of a aftermarket analog gauge cluster that includes a 140-mph speedometer, fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure and voltage. The odometer reading is not disclosed. An aftermarket 8,000-rpm tachometer is mounted to the top of the dashboard.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
This Falcon was originally equipped with a 260ci V8 backed by a four-speed manual transmission. Power is currently provided by a 1970 Mustang 302ci V8 backed by a TREMEC T-5 five-speed manual transmission donated from a 1991 Mustang. The seller reports the engine has been rebuilt with a mild cam and roller rockers, Features include chrome valve covers, Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, Edelbrock carburetor, chrome air cleaner, HEI electronic ignition system, and aluminum radiator. The transmission has been rebuilt with a new clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Falcon is equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear-drive axle with a Richmond 3.80 gear. Braking is provided by manual front disc brakes and rear drums. The taxes are possibly different in every state in America that is something you would have to ask your DMV in your state, as for shipping costs will differ from one carrier to another they can be as low as 800 with open trailer or as high as 2000 with an enclosed trailer you would have to inquire about that.
