OVERVIEW
This 1994 Volkswagen Type 2 Bus is a three-row passenger van powered by a rear-mounted 1.6-liter air-cooled flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes power rack-and-pinion steering, a modern audio system, a luggage rack, 17-inch aluminum wheels, and Continental tires. Finished in white paint and an orange vinyl wrap over a charcoal vinyl and patterned cloth interior, this Type 2 is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.
EXTERIOR – FEATURES
According to the selling dealer, the exterior was finished in white from the factory. It now features an orange vinyl wrap below the greenhouse, a glossy black front bumper and headlight rings, fog lamps, dual side mirrors, dual second-row passenger-side doors, a step ladder, and a roof rack with wood slats.
EXTERIOR – WHEELS AND TIRES
Five-spoke 17-inch gunmetal wheels with polished lips are wrapped in 205/50R17 Continental tires.
INTERIOR – FEATURES
The cabin is fitted with three rows of charcoal vinyl and patterned cloth seating, consisting of buckets up front and two benches in the rear. The padded dash and door panels are color-matched. Amenities include an upgraded audio system with rear-mounted speakers, Volkswagen Motorsport badging, and rubber flooring in the rear cargo area.
INTERIOR – GAUGES
The VDO-branded instrumentation includes a 150-km/h speedometer, an 8,000-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 30,451 kilometers (18,921 miles), which the selling dealer reports to be accurate.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 1.6-liter air-cooled flat-four was serviced within the past year, according to the selling dealer. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted four-speed manual transaxle.
UNDERCARRIAGE
Chassis features include power rack-and-pinion steering, independent suspension, and manual four-wheel drum brakes.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The selling dealer has provided a series of videos with driving demonstrations from inside and outside the vehicle.
