No Reserve: 1994 Acura Legend L
Winning Bid: $4,400 (USD) by: lodestar
This 1994 Acura Legend L sedan was acquired by the seller two years ago from the original owner and has received a recent tune-up, new brakes, and new filters. Powered by a 3.2-liter V6 paired with a 4-speed automatic transaxle, the car was originally sold in Palatine, Illinois, and has resided in Illinois since new. Finished in Taffeta White over a Taupe interior, this Legend is now offered with a clean CARFAX report, owner's books, service records, multiple sets of keys and fobs, and a clear Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The body retains its original Taffeta White (NH-578) paint, with the exception of the rear quarter panels which are reported to have been professionally touched up. A full detail was carried out at the Auto Spa in Chicago in March 2021, and the seller reports that the car is free of rust and only shows scratches on the sides of the front bumper and side-view mirrors. Exterior lighting has been upgraded with a Hikari HID headlight system and LED front turn signal bulbs. The front left fog lamp cover in the plastic air dam is missing.
Factory 15” machined aluminum wheels with Acura-branded center caps are wrapped in Westlake tires installed less than 5k miles ago. Handling is managed by a double-wishbone suspension, and the car is equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes with Brembo pads and an anti-lock braking system.
The interior is fitted with Taupe (Type E) leather bucket seats with 2-position memory and matching carpet. The center console is trimmed in woodgrain applique and houses the shift lever and a pop-out cup holder. Amenities include climate control, power windows, locks, and mirrors, a moonroof, cruise control, a Bose double-din AM/FM/cassette head unit with steering wheel controls, and a 6-disc CD changer in the trunk. The seller adds that a Compustar 2-way remote-start system (CS4905S-KIT) has been added.
Instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer, an 8k tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The 6-digit mechanical odometer shows approximately 133k original miles, and both the seller and the CARFAX report support this reading as accurate.
The 3.2-liter “Type I” V6 is original to the vehicle, was factory-rated at 200 horsepower when new, and is paired with a 4-speed automatic transaxle. The CARFAX report shows that an oil and filter change was performed in February 2021, along with a maintenance inspection and a tire rotation. The seller states that a tune-up was performed using OEM parts in 2020, which involved the replacement of the fuel and air filters, power steering fluid, and coolant. The water pump and a timing belt replacement was reportedly carried out by the prior owner. Additional maintenance items have included installation of NGK spark plugs and wires, and replacement of the exhaust heat shield and the PCV valve. The ABS light is illuminated at this time, and the power antenna mast does not fully extend.
Additional undercarriage photos can be found in the gallery.
The CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage and Illinois registration from new. Sets of keys and fobs, service records, and owner's books will go with the car.
