1991 FORD MUSTANG GT Convertible

This 1991 Ford Mustang GT convertible has been with the seller since 2014 and received several new parts within the past eight years. These include the paint, bumper covers, windshield, brakes, SVE wheels, Nitto tires, and trunk lid with a Cobra spoiler. The 302ci V8 is paired with a rebuilt 4-speed automatic transmission. Refinished in Carbon Fiber Metallic with a newer dark blue convertible top over a two-tone gray vinyl and cloth interior, this third-generation Mustang is available now and comes with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Pennsylvania title in the seller's name.

Under current ownership, the rust-free exterior has been refinished in Carbon Fiber Metallic and outfitted with a variety of new parts, including the bumper covers, windshield, exterior (and interior) seals, trunk lid, and Cobra spoiler. The headlights have been upgraded to HID bulbs and the taillights have been replaced with aftermarket units. According to the seller, the brake, parking, and turn signal lights have been converted to LEDs. The passenger compartment is covered with a newer dark blue convertible top that fits under a new black top boot.

The new 17-inch chrome SVE wheels are set inside of new Nitto tires.

The cockpit features two-tone gray vinyl and cloth bucket front seats, a dark gray cloth rear bench seat, gray door panels, a two-tone gray and black dashboard, and newer gray carpeting with dark gray carpeted front floor mats. Features include power windows, locks, and mirrors; metallic accents and controls; a center console with covered storage; an aftermarket audio head unit; and a B&M Ratchet automatic shifter. The seller reports several of the trim components and all the power window motors are new. Inside of the carpeted trunk is a 600-watt amp and a custom box with an 8-inch Audiobahn subwoofer.

Vehicle information is delivered through a 7K-rpm tachometer, 140-mph speedometer, and gauges for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. An aftermarket 8K-rpm tachometer is mounted in the middle of the dashboard. A trio of aftermarket gauges is located below the audio head unit. The 5-digit mechanical odometer shows 93K miles. A Potential Odometer Rollover notice was entered on the CARFAX report in September of 2020 when the odometer showed 92,830 miles.

The 302ci V8 engine is equipped with a cold air intake, headers, an upgraded ignition system, a new battery, a new 255-lph fuel pump, and a new gas tank. Power is sent to the road through a rebuilt 4-speed automatic transmission that has accrued fewer than 1K miles and the rear wheels. The oil and filter were changed approximately 400 miles ago.

Other new components include the power braking system's slotted and cross-drilled front brake rotors and rear drums. The seller reports there is surface rust on the undercarriage consistent with the car's age.
