Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This recently repainted and restored 1974 Porsche 914 is powered by a newly rebuilt rear-mounted 1.8-liter flat-4 engine mated to a five-speed manual transaxle. Features include U.S.-spec bumpers and lights, a removable Targa roof, an AM/FM stereo, and a carburetor conversion. This Ravenna Green 914 with its reportedly original tan vinyl and cloth interior is available now and comes from the selling dealer with the removed original fuel injection parts and a clear Colorado title.

EXTERIOR - FEATURES

According to the selling dealer, this car sat in a heated garage in Denver, Colorado for 30 years before they recently restored and repainted it. The exterior was refinished in the factory Ravenna Green two months ago. Exterior features include U.S.-spec bumpers and lights, pop-up headlights, a removable Targa roof panel, a fender-mounted antenna, and roof and rocker panel black-out.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of four-lug silver steel wheels is wrapped in radial tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The selling dealer reports they left the original interior as it was during the restoration process. The bucket seats are upholstered with tan vinyl and cloth inserts. Interior features include a tan vinyl center armrest, tan vinyl door panels with manual windows, tan carpeting, and a floor-mounted manual shifter. Additional features include manual steering, manual brakes, a black dashboard with a black top pad, an AM/FM stereo, and a three-spoke steering wheel with a faded black grip and a Porsche horn button.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 150-mph speedometer, 7K-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the fuel level and oil pressure are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 81K miles, which the selling dealer believes to be accurate.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a newly rebuilt rear-mounted 1.8-liter flat-4 engine paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. According to the selling dealer, the engine was rebuilt 10 miles ago. The original fuel injection system has been removed and replaced with a carburetor. Underhood features include manual steering and manual brakes.

UNDERCARRIAGE

Braking is provided by manual disc brakes.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

The selling dealer will include the removed original fuel injection parts with the sale.
