OVERVIEW
This rust-free 1966 Chevrolet Impala is powered by a 350ci V8 engine backed by a TH350 transmission. EXTERIOR - FEATURES
The exterior was refinished in metallic red with a metallic silver roof under previous ownership approximately three years ago, according to the seller. Features include chrome bumpers, an aluminum grille, full-length bodyside trim, wheel well and rocker moldings, and a fender-mounted antenna.
EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES
A set of chrome reversed 14" x 7" U.S. Wheel Supreme wheels with chrome center caps is wrapped in Remington whitewall tires.
INTERIOR - FEATURES
The front bucket seats and the curved rear Thunderbird seat are upholstered in black vinyl. Features include black vinyl rear trim and door panels with manual windows, a black center console, a floor-mounted B&M automatic transmission shifter, black carpeting, and black floor mats with Impala logos and red piping. Additional features include a chrome tilt steering column and an AM/FM touchscreen stereo with Bluetooth.
INTERIOR - GAUGES
A 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and a gas gauge are mounted ahead of the driver. Aftermarket readouts for the coolant temperature and oil pressure are mounted under the dashboard. With 100 miles added during current ownership, the odometer reads 72K miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Power is provided by a 350ci V8 engine and backed by a TH350 transmission. Underhood features include an HEI distributor, an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor with an electric choke, chrome valve covers, an aluminum radiator, tube exhaust headers, and a chrome air cleaner lid. The seller states that an oil and filter change was completed within the last two months.
UNDERCARRIAGE
This Impala was factory-equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by power drum brakes. Dual exhaust outlets exit at the rear. Additional photos of the undercarriage can be seen in the carousel to the right.
