OVERVIEW

This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 is powered by a 346ci Cadillac V8 backed by a three-speed manual transmission. EXTERIOR - FEATURES

Originally finished in Code 54 metallic Gun Metal gray, the restored body is now finished in maroon. Features include chrome bumpers, with over riders, amber driving lights, a chrome grille, a chrome hood ornament latch, a split windshield, dual side mirrors, a newly replaced saddle cloth manual convertible top, color-matched fender skirts, and rear trunk trim with a  chrome handle and license bracket. EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of red steel wheels, with chrome Cadillac hub caps, is wrapped in whitewall bias-ply tires.

INTERIOR - FEATURES

The front seat, rear seat, and door panels are upholstered in red vinyl. Interior features include rear passenger courtesy lights, grab handle, cigarette lighter, and ash tray; manual brakes, steering, and windows; a column-shift manual three-speed transmission, a Cadillac steering wheel with a half horn ring, a steel dashboard with a faux wood finish, and an AM radio.

INTERIOR - GAUGES

A 100-mph speedometer, a clock, and gauges for the fuel level, battery, oil pressure, and temperature are located ahead of the driver. The odometer reads 8,677 miles but the true mileage on this vehicle is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a 346ci Cadillac V8 backed by a three-speed manual transmission. Underhood features include gray engine block and head finish, an oil bath air filter, a single carburetor, and correct intake and exhaust manifolds. According to the selling dealer, the antifreeze and oil have recently been changed.

UNDERCARRIAGE

This Cadillac was originally equipped with an independent front suspension and a solid rear drive axle. Braking is provided by manual four-wheel drum brakes. A single exhaust system exits at the rear. A new fuel tank and sending unit have been installed.
