Vehicle Story

OVERVIEW

This 1932 Ford 2-Door Sedan has been with the seller since 2015 and is powered by a BluePrint Engines 383ci V8 backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic overdrive transmission. Features include air conditioning, a tilt steering column, a Heidts independent front suspension, and front disc brakes. Finished in yellow with purple flame graphics over a beige vinyl interior, this customized Ford is available now and comes with a clear title.

EXTERIOR – FEATURES

The steel fenders and body, chopped top, and filled roof are finished in yellow. Features include a polished front spreader bar, custom headlight mounts, a filled and color-matched steel radiator shell with an aluminum insert and turn signals, a three-piece hood, white-to-purple flame graphics, smooth color-matched running boards, dual mirrors, a color-matched rear fuel tank, and a chrome rear spreader bar. The seller states that the paint is an older finish and has a few nicks in it.

EXTERIOR - WHEELS AND TIRES

A set of five-spoke chrome wheels is wrapped in radial tires.

INTERIOR – FEATURES

The bucket seats, trim, and door panels are upholstered in beige vinyl. Features include a floor-mounted automatic shifter, tan carpeting with matching floor mats, a chrome tilt steering column, a three-spoke banjo steering wheel with a beige grip, and air conditioning.

INTERIOR – GAUGES

Classic Instruments gauges, including a 140-mph speedometer and readouts for the fuel level, voltage, coolant temperature, and oil pressure, are mounted in a body-color dashboard. The odometer reads 31,984 miles, but the seller states the true mileage is unknown.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION

Power is provided by a BluePrint Engines 383ci V8 and backed by a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. According to the seller, there are fewer than 500 miles on the engine; output is 475 horsepower and 438 lb-ft of torque. Engine bay features include 64cc aluminum heads, a roller camshaft, an electric fan, an aluminum radiator, and a body-color upper radiator hose.

UNDERCARRIAGE

The chassis has been modified to accept a Heidts independent front suspension with disc brakes and a Ford nine-inch rear end with drum brakes and coil-over shocks. The chassis and suspension parts have been painted to match the body. A full-length dual exhaust system exits at the rear through a pair of outlets.
