This 1985 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 4WD is a one-owner example that has spent its entire life in Reno, Nevada. The drivetrain features a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six backed by a 4-speed manual transmission which powers all four wheels via a 2-speed transfer case. The vehicle was manufactured in October of its model year and has undergone a single-stage respray in the original color. Finished in Alpine White with neutral graphics over a gray cloth interior, this FJ60 is now offered with owner’s guide books, two decades of service records, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Nevada title.
The Land Cruiser 60-Series was first produced for the 1980 model year as a front-engine, four-door wagon with four-wheel drive. This 1985 example was sold new in Reno, Nevada, where it has remained under single ownership and was repainted in the factory Alpine White, with newly-applied neutral gradient graphics along either side. The front and rear bumpers, headlight bezels, fender vents, and door handles are all chrome, and additional features include mudguards, a lockable fuel door, and a wiper-equipped rear hatch. The selling dealer has provided up-close imaging of specific cosmetic blemishes on the exterior.
Chrome-finished six-spoke 15” factory wheels are wrapped in 235/75 Big O Big Foot A/T raised-white-letter tires. The suspension is comprised of leaf springs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums.
The interior is trimmed in gray patterned cloth upholstery with a color-matching center console, door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, a rear heater, and a push-button AM/FM radio. The cargo area is fully carpeted.
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a 4,500-rpm tachometer, and a multi-gauge cluster with readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads approximately 146k miles, and the CARFAX report shows that this reading represents the true and original mileage.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is described as being in good mechanical condition as evidenced by documentation in the service history and CARFAX report. Power is directed to all four wheels via a floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel. A full-sized spare tire is mounted to the rear undercarriage.
The CARFAX notes registration in Reno, Nevada since new and evidence of a regular maintenance history at a local dealer. The sale includes service records back to the late 1990s and an owner’s guide.

@Imgettingold – Is there a chance you could post a video of the car starting and running? ...
We'll post a video of the vehicle as soon as possible. Currently, Reno is experiencing severe smoke and haze outside and we're all staying inside, but we hope to post a video Monday morning.
