This 1957 Ford Thunderbird is powered by a 5.3 liter LS V8 linked to an automatic transmission. Equipment includes an aftermarket air conditioning unit from Vintage Air, disc brakes up front, and air shocks in the rear. This Thunderbird is available in Florida, has acquired 4,500 miles since it was restored, and is offered with a clear title in the seller's name.
This Thunderbird is finished in red with a white removable hardtop and features chrome trim along with the grill in the front and chrome bumpers. The front bumpers include Dagmars on both sides. The upper line of the Thunderbird's fins begins about halfway across the doors and then continues to the end of the car.
The Ford Thunderbird was first introduced on October 22nd, 1954 as a two-passenger vehicle. By the time the 1957 model year came about, the Thunderbird had been restyled. In comparison to the earlier models, the 1957 model sported a longer rear deck, and a spare tire mounted in the trunk instead of resting outside it. This example is equipped with American Racing polished 5-spoke wheels and braking has been upgraded with front discs.
The interior is fitted with red carpeting while the seats, door panels, and visors are white. The dashboard is white on top, red below, and fitted with a machine-turned inlay pattern in the middle of these colors. Aftermarket A/C vents are mounted under the dash with controls located next to the retro-look modern radio.
The instruments are housed in a machine-turned inlay, and include an aftermarket speedometer, water temperature gauge, and voltmeter. The seller states that the car has acquired 4,500 miles since it was restored.
The Thunderbird is powered by a 5.3 liter LS V8 paired with an automatic transmission. The plastic covers mounted over the valve covers have been painted to match the red on the body. Features include power steering and brakes, along with an aluminum radiator with an electric fan.

@gstenger5 – I am interested but need additional information please. Can you post some under carriage photos? Also what is the steering unit? Is it rack and pinion? Thank you ...
Per the seller will not be able to provide underside pictures prior to end of auction, but it will receive an oil change and full inspection prior to a buyer taking delivery of the car. The steering system is the same setup as the factory-original but has all replaced/rebuilt components
@SlakerCat – @Lucky721 Does this have a convertible top? Also, does it come with the wire wheels shown in picture #2? ...
Per the seller it has a white convertible top and the wire wheels were in poor condition when he got the car to the point where they were unsavable. They are not included in the sale. The seller also said they will not be able to provide underside pictures prior to end of auction, but it will receive an oil change and full inspection prior to a buyer taking delivery of the car
