This 1966 Ford Thunderbird is finished in beige over Emberglo interior and is powered by a 390ci V8 paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission. The seller purchased this Thunderbird from the family of the original owner four years ago. Located in Bow, New Hampshire this Thunderbird is offered for sale on a clean New Hampshire title in the seller’s name.
The car came finished from the factory in Sahara beige with a parchment vinyl roof. Features include forward turn signal indicators mounted on top of the fenders, simulated hood scoop, sequential taillights blinking taillights, and fender skirts.
The car rides on 15" steel wheels with factory 5-spoke style hubcaps. Goodyear Integrity tires with white stripe measure 195/75 on all four corners and a full-size spare with cover is stored in the trunk. Braking is provided by power-assisted discs in the front, with drums in the rear.
The Thunderbird retains its factory Emberglo interior featuring power-adjustable front bucket seats, wrap-around rear seats, a tilt “Swing Away” steering wheel, an overhead “safety panel” with warning lights, and AM/cassette radio. Additional features include air conditioning, a power antenna, power door locks, and power windows, with all the switches replaced this year.
The gauge cluster is anchored by a 120-mph strip-style speedometer, with smaller gauges to indicate oil pressure, fuel level, engine temperature, and battery voltage. The center console houses controls for the air conditioning system as well as a vintage look radio in the factory location. The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles, all but 800 of which have been added by the seller over 4 years of ownership.
The 390ci Ford “FE” V8 utilizes four valves per cylinder, a 10.5:1 compression ratio, and was factory-rated at 315 horsepower and 427 lb-ft of torque in the Thunderbird. Power is sent to the 3.00:1 rear through a 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Recent maintenance includes a new battery, alternator, and drive belts.
All maintenance records from the past four years are included with the sale, in addition to the original owners' manual and keys.

The car is in superb condition not a scratch or dent no rust. Undercarriage is superb hard to take a picture of it because the car sits so low. And it’s in storage right now in heated garage. But I can guarantee you there is no body rust there are no holes there are no leaks the car went was been gone through 100% since I purchased it anything that was needed was upgraded with original parts new battery as of early this year when I took it out of storage late Covid I would say June or July.
