This 2004 BMW M3 two-door is a one-owner sports coupe with custom 19” aluminum wheels, a lowered suspension, and an upgraded Eisenmann quad-outlet exhaust system that was purchased new by the seller in July 2004 and has remained in California since that time. Under the hood, the S54 3.2-liter inline-six was fully serviced and inspected in 2020, sending power to the rear via a limited-slip differential and a 6-speed sequential manual gearbox (SMG) transmission. Finished in Titan Silver Metallic with black and carbon fiber accents over a black leather interior, this E46 M3 is now offered with the original wheels, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear California title in the seller’s name.
The M3 first debuted in 1986 as a high-performance version of the BMW 3-Series compact car, offering upgraded cosmetic and mechanical content when compared to traditional models. For the model year 2000, the M3 adopted the E46 chassis and became available as a coupe or convertible. This coupe from 2004 is coated in Titan Silver Metallic (354), featuring aerodynamic body treatment including widened fenders to accommodate larger tires, a front chin spoiler, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. The grille, side accents, and badging are finished in matte black, and additional features include Xenon headlights with angel eye daytime running lamps, a trunk-mounted carbon fiber lip spoiler, and an Eisenmann quad-outlet exhaust system.
Alloy 19” matte black-finished wheels with polished lips are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The suspension has been lowered roughly 1” with Eibach lowering springs, and the braking system is upgraded with an Alcon big brake kit and Stoptech pads. Handling and safety are assisted by BMW’s Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) traction-control system.
The interior is fitted with black leather heated and power-operated bucket seats, with corresponding materials used for the door panels, dash, console, and carpeting. Amenities include automatic climate control, tinted windows, cruise control, power windows, and power door locks. An upgraded Alpine navigation sound system was installed in place of the factory Harman Kardon setup, with Bavsound speakers, a subwoofer, and an Intravee audio interface for iPod connectivity as well as a six-disc CD changer.
Instrumentation is provided by a 185-mph speedometer, a 9k-rpm tachometer, and additional gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer reads 105k miles, which the seller states is a true original reading.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was factory rated at 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque when new and has been consistently maintained as outlined on the CARFAX report. Service carried out by BMW of Buena Park in September 2020 which included an oil and filter change, a differential fluid change, safety checks, and inspections of the charging, braking, and other systems. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a 6-speed sequential manual gearbox (SMG) transmission and a limited-slip differential.
Additional undercarriage photos can be found in the gallery.
The CARFAX report describes this M3 as a one-owner, accident and damage-free vehicle. A California emissions inspection was carried out in August 2020. The sale includes the original wheels.

@haapormac21 – Paint is original Titanium Silver. ...
Or I mean has any panels been resprayed? So I'm assuming no work on subframe, vanos, bearings?
Paint is original Titanium Silver.
@Sylverlee – Does the vehicle come with the original front bumper? Is there any information on the big 3, subframe, vanos, rod bearing? ...
Front bumper is original. A front lip was added and fog lights are original with that additional add-on. SMG was worked on back when it had 80+k mileage. It has been running well since then. I don’t have anything more to add other than it has been the maintenance care that it deserves. Fun to drive.

and is all the paint original or repainted?

@Lawmar – 100k on the clutch, you probably put your foot into it once or twice over the years, how good/fair is it? ...
Hello Lawmar, Please note that this M3 has SMG transmission, hence no clutch pedal to put your left foot on. I have been using this car in manual mode using the paddle shifters or the stick. It can also be used in automatic mode but this is not my personal preference. A pertinent info to your question is that the SMG was worked on back when it was in the 80+K mileage. It has been working very well since then.
