This 1991 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce is a largely original and well-preserved Italian roadster that has been driven 65,700 miles since new and comes with records detailing extensive maintenance to the fuel system, transmission, alternator, belts, and other aspects of the powertrain. This Veloce is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 coupled with a rebuilt 3-speed automatic transmission and was originally sold in Dallas, Texas. The car subsequently spent time in other areas before being relocated to Arkansas in 2009 where it now resides. Finished in red over a tan leather interior, this Series 4 Spider is now offered with a convertible boot, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear Arkansas title in the seller’s name.
Initially launching in 1966 as a Series 1, the Italian-built Spider leveraged a two-seat, two-door roadster body style as a successor to the outgoing Giulia Spider. The Series 4 iteration debuted in 1990 and offered body-colored plastic bumper fascia, full-width rear taillights, and changes to the available drivetrains. This 1991 Veloce is finished in red with a tan cloth retractable top and is reported to show well. Aesthetics include chrome headlight rings, body-colored sideview mirror caps, a trunk-mounted third brake lamp, and a single-outlet polished exhaust tip at the rear.
Alloy 15” phone-dial wheels are wrapped in Pirelli tires with good tread life remaining. The seller reports that the brakes, including the rotors, are new.
The interior presents in a two-tone color scheme and is fitted with tan leather upholstery, color-matching door panels, and contrasting black upper dash, carpeting, and floor mats. Amenities include power windows, a driver-side airbag, a radio, a cigarette lighter, and air conditioning, and the jack and tools are accounted for.
Jaeger instrumentation consists of the 140-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 65,700 miles, which the seller asserts is a true reading.
The 2.0-liter twin-cam inline-4 was rated at 120 horsepower and 117 lb-ft of torque when new. The powertrain has been well-maintained and recently received a replacement transmission mount, motor mounts, water pump, front seal, alternator, fuel pump and filter, radiator, hoses, belts, a new muffler, and a tune-up. A replacement battery was installed in March 2020 per the CARFAX report. Power is directed to the rear wheels via a 3-speed automatic transmission which was rebuilt 12,000 miles ago.

The CARFAX report shows no history of accidents or damage. The sale includes a tan vinyl convertible boot, and video is available for viewing below.
