This 1941 Ford pickup comes complete with accessories including spotlights, fog lamps, a siren, and newer wide whitewall tires that were installed as part of an earlier restoration. Power for this pickup is provided by a 239ci flathead V8 that received an oil service and a fluid check performed in early 2020, sending power to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 3-speed manual transmission. Finished in black over a reupholstered black vinyl interior, this pickup is now offered with a clear North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
Although the 1941 Ford sedans received a styling update, pickups carried over aesthetics from the prior year. This example is described as having a rust-free steel body and was restored under prior ownership to near-original specifications, receiving a repaint in black and refinished brightwork for the bumpers, grille, and headlight rings. The body features a two-piece windshield, running boards, a spare tire mounted along the passenger side, and color-matched wooden planks on the bed floor. Add-ons were incorporated as part of the refurbishment including turn signals, amber fog lamps, spotlights, a siren, and a polished-outlet dual exhaust system. The seller notes that the paint shows some wear for its age, and there are small scratches visible up close on the driver-side front fender.
Steel 16” wheels with chrome covers are wrapped in newer wide whitewall tires.
The interior contains a reupholstered black vinyl bench seat with the door panels and dashboard color-matched. The flooring is covered in a black rubber mat, and amenities include a heater and a push-button starter. The seller notes that a radio is installed but not currently operational.
Waltham-branded instrumentation is housed within a bronze bezel and contains a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. Additional aftermarket gauges are mounted beneath the dash for oil pressure and voltage, and the five-digit mechanical odometer reads 72k miles although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The single-carbureted 239ci flathead features a Fenton header, and the seller states that service was carried out in early 2020 including an oil change and a check of all fluids. The electrical system has been upgraded from 6-volt to 12-volt, and power is fed to the rear wheels via a 3-speed manual transmission. The seller notes there currently is no hood prop.
Photos showing the underside are available in the carousel.
The selling dealer notes that there is a $125 doc fee in addition to the purchase price.
