This 2005 Ford Mustang has been treated to Shelby’s Terlingua Racing Team package, which was a performance and appearance upgrade. In addition to air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, front and side airbags, and a Shaker stereo with a CD player standard with the Mustang, the Terlingua Racing Team package supplied it with unique stripes, emblems. The car also includes the optional Performance Pack, composed of a Paxton supercharger, Shelby-Borla exhaust system, Baer 6-piston brakes, and 20” Shelby wheels all installed by an authorized Shelby installer. The car has been with the seller since 2010, has 96K miles, and is offered with a clear New Mexico title in the seller’s name.
The Terlingua Racing Team borrows the name Terlingua from a small town in Texas where Carrol Shelby’s racing team was based in the 1960s and the team itself emerged in SCCA racing in 1967. The team’s Mustang displayed a logo of a rabbit named Lucifer with a raised paw. Shelby later put the rabbit logo on some limited-edition production Mustangs like the example here. In addition to the Terlingua rabbit logo on the hood and in a grille-mounted emblem, the car has a black fuel filler door on the driver side and Terlingua logos on both fenders.
Shelby-branded 20” wheels with yellow center caps feature the Terlingua logo and are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero tires. The front fenders exhibit a number of racing decals while black Terlingua racing stripes and lettering stretch across the bottom of the car on both sides. The seller states the tires are out-of-round and do need to be replaced.
The interior is outfitted in two-tone tan and yellow leather with a black dash pad and yellow stitching on the seats and center console and features air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, front and side airbags, and a Shaker stereo with a CD player. The Terlingua rabbit is embroidered on the center console’s armrest, front seats, and rear-seat headrests. The car also has a logo of Carroll Shelby’s signature embroidered on the front seat headrests and printed on the center console gauge faces.
The two-tone 3-spoke steering wheel includes buttons for the cruise control system and behind that a tachometer and inoperable speedometer. An additional cluster center-mounted on the dashboard includes gauges for boost, fuel pressure, and oil pressure all featuring a print of Carrol Shelby’s signature. Below that is a Terlingua Racing Team plaque with the logo, an additional signature, and the Shelby cars assigned number. The odometer shows 96K miles, 3,841 of which have been added by the seller.
The 4-liter V6 is coupled to an automatic transmission. Equipped with the Performance Pack’s supercharger and Shelby-Borla exhaust, the engine now produces 375 horsepower. The seller states the Mustang received an oil change in 2020.
There is a manufacturer safety recall dated May 2015 and January 2019 for the driver and passenger airbag, and the seller states lots of records and documentation on the vehicle are available.

Congrats to whoever is the high bidder! You certainly will have one of a kind: if you already noticed the dash plaque serial number, this is the first white rabbit that came from the Terlingua Racing package! She is unique!

@Movemup – How is the engine? ...
The engine runs and sounds like a Shelby! I do all the maintenance on it so I know the engine personally. Thus is a well cared for and driven car. As an older car it needs a few upgrades and I haven't taken it in for it's airbag recall. But for the price this Shelby may go for a song! Good luck!
