Vehicle Story

This 1976 Chevrolet K5 Blazer Cheyenne is a straight, rust-free, two-wheel-drive sport-utility vehicle showing 36,279 miles on the odometer and powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This Blazer has been customized with larger wheels and lowered suspension but is otherwise largely original in configuration, offering a two-tone Orange Burnt Bronze and White exterior finish over saddle vinyl seating. Additional interior features include woodgrain interior trim, a center console, and cold air conditioning. This K5 is now offered with a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.

The full-size Blazer sport-utility vehicle was part of the Chevrolet C/K-Series pickup truck family, first launching for model year 1969. In 1973, all General Motors pickups including the Blazer were subject to a redesign. This example from 1976 is painted two-tone Orange Burnt Bronze and White and is described as retaining its original finishes and rust-free body per the seller. Accenting brightwork is in good condition for the bumpers, grille, sideview mirrors, and other trim. Noteworthy blemishes include a small scrape on the passenger side front fender near the headlight and some bubbling on the front of the hood. At the rear, a polished tailpipe exits behind each rear wheel, and the tailgate features a retractable glass window.

Upgraded larger-diameter five-spoke wheels with polished lips are mounted to newer low-profile tires. Stopping power comes from power disc brakes, and steering is power-assisted.

The interior is outfitted in Cheyenne equipment, offering saddle vinyl bucket seats up front and a bench in the rear, with color-matched finishes for the center console, door panels, dash pad, and darker brown carpeting. A woodgrain overlay provides accent to the interior, and additional amenities include a center console, air conditioning, tinted windows, and a radio.

Instrumentation resides in a woodgrain bezel and consists of a 100-mph speedometer and accompanying gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 36,279 miles, which the seller asserts is a true reading.

The 350ci V8 received a newer battery and is said to have services up to date per the seller. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 3-speed automatic transmission.
