This 1931 Ford 1-ton flatbed truck has been thoroughly restored and maintained by the seller over the past 6 years and is described to be in excellent condition. Power comes from a 200.5ci inline-4 cylinder paired with a 3-speed manual transmission to drive a fresh set of tires while equipment includes mechanical steering and braking systems, ah-ooh-ga horn, and 6-volt electrical throughout. Located in Brighton, Colorado, the truck is offered with a clear Colorado title in the seller's name.
The flatbed pickup exterior features a red cab with a matching louvered hood over a black grille, front fenders, side steps and exposed frame rails. The windshield opening is functional for interior ventilation and the 14-foot flatbed has been refreshed with newer wooden slats, hardware and support beams underneath. Twin headlamps are fitted upfront over a black steel bumper and the top of the roof is upholstered in a black leather covering.
New tires have been fitted over a set of 5-spoke 5-lug wheels which are painted in black with chrome lips and ride on authentic suspension components. Mechanical steering and oversized drum brakes are equipped as standard and are notably non-hydraulic systems.
The interior is outfitted in black upholstery over the bench seat, doors and wood slatted headliner with stainless door handles, knobs and window hardware as accents. An aftermarket "ah-ooh-ga" horn has been installed by the seller and the headlights must be switched on independently of one another as reported by the seller.
Instrumentation is organized in a diamond-shaped fashion next to the 4-spoke steering wheel includes a slot for the ignition key, gauges for fuel level and battery amperage, and a combined speedometer and odometer dial on the bottom corner. The odometer on this example reads a total of 48 miles driven.
Power is produced by a period-correct 200.5ci inline-4 cylinder engine which is shifted by way of a 3-speed manual transmission with reverse lock-out. The drivetrain is said to be in great running condition with no notable issues or leaks reported by the seller.
Underneath, the later model ring and pinion differential with selectable high and low gearing appears to be in place along with standard suspension components and a single exhaust system.
Ford patent badging is present on the passenger side of the firewall to denote the truck's authenticity and many additional photos have been provided for viewing in the image gallery. Videos are available for viewing below.
