This 1971 Chevrolet El Camino was purchased by the seller in 2004 after mechanical refreshment was completed under prior ownership in 2003 and was completely restored since then. Power comes from a rebuilt 350ci small-block V8 paired with a TH350 automatic which has been driven less than 10,000 miles since the overhaul. Equipment includes a heater/defroster, updated R-134a air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, an aftermarket stereo, and a spray-on bed liner. The car is located in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and offered with a clear title in the seller's name.
The exterior was professionally finished in metallic gold with brown hood striping in 2010 and complemented by chrome front and rear bumpers along with stainless trim. The inside of the bed was coated with a black spray-on liner in 2010 and the seller notes that there are no notable dents or blemishes from hauling cargo.
Silver Centerline wheels come set in a newer set of front tires while the rears are noted to need replacement in the near future. Power steering and power brakes are equipped to handle standard suspension components for the model year.
The interior was also refreshed in 2010 with the addition of new two-tone tan and brown cloth upholstery over the bench seat with matching brown carpeting. Equipment includes an aftermarket stereo receiver, manual windows and locks, a heater/defroster, and an updated R-134a air conditioning system.
Instrumentation is framed by an aftermarket Grant steering wheel and consists of a horizontal 120-mph speedometer with an integrated fuel level dial, an 8K-rpm AutoMeter tachometer, and two additional dash-mounted dials. The 5-digit odometer is reported to have rolled over to 104,000 miles.
Power comes from a 350ci small-block V8 paired with a TH350 automatic transmission which was rebuilt under prior ownership in 2003. It comes equipped with a chrome air cleaner and valve covers, an Edelbrock Performer intake manifold, and a set of long tube headers. The oil was changed approximately 150 miles ago and the seller notes that the transmission has a small intermittent fluid leak.
The underside is home to a dual exhaust system and a Positrac 12-bolt solid rear axle.
Receipts for the build are included as part of the sale. Additional photos of this 1971 El Camino are available in the photo carousel to the right. The video below contains exterior and interior footage of the car.

@HarveyC – I bought the ElCamino from a good friend in Midland Texas. He had the car several years. So I have known about the vehicle for about 20 years. All in Texas and Oklahoma. Thanks for your interest. ...
Ps. I have owned the ElCamino about 15 of those years.
