This 1976 Chevrolet Corvette is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. After leaving the St. Louis Assembly Plant, the car spent time in Illinois where it currently resides. Equipment includes air conditioning, power steering, 4-wheel disc brakes, an AM/FM radio, a tilt/telescoping steering column, power windows, a leather interior, dual side mirrors, T-Tops, bumper guards, pop-up headlight assemblies, and a key lock in the driver side front fender that controls an anti-theft system. This Corvette has 55,543 miles on the odometer and is now offered with a clean title.
Finished in silver (13L), this Corvette includes color-matched T-Tops, dual side mirrors, and badging. Features include a crossed flags badge on the rear deck-mounted fuel filler door, a Corvette badge on the rear, Stingray badges on the front fenders, and L82 badges on the hood and center console.
The Corvette features pop-up headlight assemblies, bumpers guards, and a key lock in the driver-side front fender that controls the anti-theft alarm. Factory 15” Chevrolet Rallye wheels are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle ST raised white letter tires. Slowing and stopping are accomplished with the aid of 4-wheel disc brakes.
The interior is outfitted in Firethorn red with leather bucket seats (712), air conditioning, power windows, power steering, an AM/FM radio, and a tilt/telescoping steering column. While the headliner is finished in Firethorn red, the door panels feature Firethorn red and some wood accents. Drivers can operate the 3-speed automatic transmission using the shifter mounted in the center console. The controls for the power windows are also mounted in the center console. The seller describes the overall condition of the interior as soft and nice and reports the air conditioning needs to be converted to R134.
Behind the 4-spoke steering wheel are an analog 160-mph speedometer and a 7,000 rpm-tachometer. At the right are gauges measuring the fuel level, water temperature, oil pressure, and battery. The odometer shows 55,543 miles.
The 350ci V8 is paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The L48 engine this Corvette was originally equipped with was factory-rated at 180 horsepower and 270 il-ft of torque and features a Carburetor Outside Air Induction system that shifted the air intake from the cowl to further forward above the radiator.
The front suspension is comprised of unequal length control arms, coil springs and a stabilizer bar while the rear independent suspension is composed of a trailing link and a transverse semi-elliptic leaf spring.
The tag on the car confirms that it has the original silver paint (13L) and interior trim (712).

@mikeseago – Unequal length control arms ? Sorry, but is that how corvettes were made or has something been changed? Thank you ...
The control arms are referred to as an unequal-length design. That means the upper and lower arms are different lengths. Corvettes are well known for their outstanding handling, and this unequal-length control arm design is one of the reasons.
