This 1967 International 1100B 4WD short bed is a mechanically turnkey pickup, having received mechanical service to the 304ci V8 including a top-end overhaul, recent fresh fluids, a new air cleaner, and replacement leaf springs and brakes. A floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case send power to all four wheels via new Hercules tires, and the body is described as rust-free with a driver-grade paint job and straight panels. Finished in two-tone red and white over a reupholstered dark gray cloth interior, this 1100B is now offered with a clear Arizona title in the seller’s name.
International launched a new line of pickups in 1961 which evolved through body styles through the subsequent years, taking on the A name in 1966 and the B name in 1967 according to weight rating. This 1967 1100B is presented in a stepside, shortbed body style and was repainted under prior ownership in red. The paint and finishes are described by the seller as driver-grade with some cosmetic wear consistent with age. Brightwork comprises the headlight surrounds, swing-away sideview mirrors, and grill border, while the bumpers and rooftop are painted off-white. Features include a bed-mounted spare tire at the driver side, a jerry can at the passenger side, an embossed tailgate, a diamond-plate rear bumper, and a tow setup.
White-painted steel wheels are mounted to newer Hercules Terra Trac raised-white-letter tires. Handling is assisted by replacement leaf springs, a chassis service, and new brakes.
The interior is fitted with a dark gray cloth and off-white vinyl bench seat with black lap belts, while the door panels and dash are finished in off-white. Amenities include a rubberized mat flooring material, a push-button radio, a heater, and an under-seat fire extinguisher.
Instrumentation includes a predominant 100-mph speedometer, along with gauges on the periphery for voltage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit mechanical odometer reads 21k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The overhauled 304ci V8 was serviced with recent fluids and is dressed with a chrome-finished air cleaner. Power is sent to all four wheels via a floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission with a 2-speed transfer case and locking front hubs.
