Vehicle Story

This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu was reportedly purchased from the first owner and originally came in green with a black vinyl top over a green interior. It was subsequently taken down to its bare metal, painted in a custom shade of three-stage maroon paint, and furnished with new black carpeting, door panels, front seats, and a matching reupholstered rear seat. Equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, a column-mounted automatic shifter, and a front center console with two cup holders. Power is provided by a fuel-injected 350cid Chevrolet crate engine and routed through a 700R4 automatic transmission. Available now, this customized Chevelle comes with a clear Florida title in the seller's name.

Under previous ownership, the car was green with a black vinyl roof and a green interior. During its time with the current owner, the glass, doors, hood, and decklid were pulled and the body was treated for rust and taken down to bare metal. A new cowl-style hood was installed and a custom shade of maroon three-stage paint was applied. Features include chrome bumpers and brightwork around the grille, windshield, windows, rear windshield, and taillights.

The 20" American Racing Torq Thrust II wheels are set inside new 245/35 Nitto NT555 tires.

The interior was gutted and lined with Dynamat sound dampening material, per the seller, and is now furnished with replacement black carpeting, door panels, and front seats, as well as a rear seat that was reupholstered to match the front buckets. Equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, a column-mounted automatic shifter, an aftermarket radio head unit, a center console with an armrest, a storage compartment, and two cup holders, and a Fox Acoustics Fox Box subwoofer housing in the trunk.

The dashboard contains instrumentation consisting of a gear selector window, a 120-mph speedometer, a fuel gauge, and brake, generator, temperature, and oil pressure warning lights. The odometer reportedly shows 17K miles, though true chassis mileage is unknown.

In place of the original engine is a fuel-injected Chevrolet ZZ4 350cid V8 crate engine which routes its power to the road through a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission. It breathes through a set of long tube headers, an X-pipe, and Flowmaster mufflers.

The car sits on 1" Eibach lowering springs.
