This 1979 Lincoln Continental Mark V Bill Blass Edition is one of 6,720 produced for its model year. Features include a carriage roof; power windows, steering, and brakes; a Cartier clock; and air conditioning. Power is provided by a 400ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This two-tone blue and white Mark V has been garage kept with the seller for four years and is offered with a clear Florida.
The body wears its original Tu-Tone Midnight Blue Metallic and White finish with a hood ornament, a chrome waterfall grille, gold accent striping, and a White Carriage Roof. Additional features include concealed quad headlamps and a "spare tire" trunk lid with a Bill Blass monogram. According to the seller, there are a few blemishes in the paint.
Factory 15-inch turbine-style cast aluminum wheels are set inside of dual-band whitewall tires at all four corners. The car is equipped with power steering and power disc brakes.
The interior features dark blue carpeting and White leather seating with Midnight Blue accents and matching folding front armrests and door panels. The dashboard and steering wheel is trimmed in walnut wood-tone applique. Amenities include power windows, power steering, power front seats, air conditioning, an AM/FM radio, and cruise control.
Instrumentation is framed by a two-spoke steering wheel and consists of an 80-mph speedometer, a gear selection window, a Cartier clock, and a fuel gauge. The 11,600 miles shown on the five-digit odometer are reported by the seller to be true to the vehicle.
The 400ci V8 was rated at 179 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque when new. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a C6 3-speed automatic transmission and a column-mounted shift lever.

All electrical components are working properly. There are NO drops of liquid under the car after driving or while running. We do NOT have a CarFAX on the vehicle. A video of the cold start and engine running was uploaded to the photos last week, after you had requested it. There are less than 12,000 miles on the vehicle.
