This 1977 GMC K1500 Sierra Grande pickup has been a member of the same family since purchased new and is now available with many of its original components and 68,000 miles on the odometer. Power is sent to all four wheels by the factory original 400ci small-block V8 and automatic transmission while equipment includes power tilt steering, power brakes, dual fuel tanks, an aftermarket stereo and Sierra Grande trimmings. The truck is located in Gladstone, Oregon and offered with a clean title in the seller's name.
Finished in two-toned Rosedale Red (71) and Neutral (60) with Medium Gold (53) and stainless trim lines, the single cab short bed exterior features chrome Sierra Grande badging with matching bumpers, grille and brightwork. Condition appears to be good including the truck bed which is finished in body matching color and shows no notable signs of hauling use.
Standard dished silver wheels are fitted in blackwalled rubber over power brakes and handled by way of power steering. The truck rides at its stock height and features a leaf-sprung suspension system with shocks on the front and rear.
The interior is outfitted in brown with a cloth upholstered bench seat, brown carpeting and vinyl coverings for the dash and door panels. Windows are manually cranked and equipment includes a heater, aftermarket Kenwood AM/FM/CD stereo and 4-wheel-drive which is activated by way of the floor-mounted shifter.
Instrumentation is mounted behind the stock 4-spoke tilt steering wheel and consists of a 100-mph speedometer along with dials for fuel level, battery voltage, oil pressure and coolant temperature. the 5-digit odometer displays a total of 68,099 original miles as shown in the above photo.
Power comes from the original 400ci small-block V8 mated to an automatic transmission and 4-wheel-drive transfer case. The drivetrain is said to run and drive smoothly without any notable issues and produced a factory-rated 175hp through a 4-barrel carburetor when new.
The underside is home to the aforementioned suspension components along with a dual exhaust system which leads to set of chrome tips at the rear. Additional photos of the truck have been made available for viewing in the image gallery.
