This 1966 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 tribute car is finished in Wimbledon White with blue stripes over a black vinyl interior equipped with 2+2 seating, a three-spoke steering wheel, a dashboard-mounted tachometer, a floor-mounted manual shifter, and an AM/FM radio. Power is provided by a 289ci V8 that sends its power through a 4-speed manual gearbox and the rear wheels. Available now, this Shelby GT350 Mustang tribute comes from the selling dealer with a clear title.
The car comes finished in Wimbledon White with blue stripes and is reportedly free of damage, dings, and dents The seller states the paint finish is uniform and also applied to the door jambs and undersides of the hood and trunk lid. A pair of wide stripes start at the lower front fascia, go up the hood and hood scoop, and extend down the roof, trunk, and rear fascia panel. Blue stripes with "G.T. 350" lettering run across the bottom of the front fenders and doors, then finish on the rear fenders in front of the back tires. Additional features include a tri-bar pony badge on the driver's side of the grille, "FORD" lettering on the hood, "HIGH PERFORMANCE 289" and "MUSTANG 2+2" badges on the front fenders, scoops behind the doors, and dual exhaust finishers that exit through the lower rear fascia. Per the seller, the chrome trim is in excellent condition with minimal patina.
BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires with white sidewall lettering are mounted on 5-lug wheels with red center caps, one of which is missing from the driver's-side rear wheel.
The cabin is furnished with black carpeting with black Cobra-embroidered mats, black vinyl front bucket and two-person foldable rear bench seating, and black metal and vinyl door panels. Equipment includes a 3-spoke steering wheel; a floor-mounted manual shifter with a white cueball-style knob; an aftermarket AM/FM radio; a center console with two cupholders, a storage compartment, and an armrest; and a glove compartment. Patterned vinyl lines the floor of the trunk and covers the spare wheel/tire combo.
The horizontal instrument cluster houses a centrally mounted 140-mph speedometer with an integrated odometer showing 35,923 miles flanked by gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, amps, and coolant temperature. A Cobra-branded standalone 9K-rpm tachometer is attached to the top of the dashboard above the radio.
Inside the engine bay is a 289cid V8 equipped with Ford Performance valve covers and a chrome air cleaner housing with a "289 CUBIC INCHES HIGH PERFORMANCE" label. That sends its power to the road through a 4-speed manual gearbox. Surrounding hardware includes an aluminum radiator and a V-shape brace that connects the shock towers to the back of the engine bay.
