19k-Mile 2000 Honda S2000

This 2000 Honda S2000 is finished in New Formula Red over a black leather interior and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-4 paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. Originally sold in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, this S2000 remained with its original owner for nine years.  The odometer shows 19k miles. Equipment includes Xenon high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights, independent double-wishbone suspension, limited-slip differential, dual exhaust, and a power convertible top. It is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clean Missouri title in the seller’s name.

The Honda S2000 was available in four exterior colors for model year 2000, this example is painted New Formula Red (R-510). The car has remained stock and unmodified from new, both mechanically and cosmetically. The accompanying clean CARFAX report reflects consistent service history at locations in Wisconsin and Missouri. A recall performed in 2004 was related to the taillight lens color.

Factory 16” wheels are fitted with staggered tires, 205/55-16 up front and 225/50-16 in the rear. The seller states this vehicle has not had any paintwork. The engine bay is free of any modification and the accompanying photo gallery shows the convertible top's excellent condition. The plastic rear window is clear with no yellowing or fading. This S2000 is equipped with Xenon high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights and a dual exhaust system.

The well kept interior is fitted with black carpeting with black leather on the seats and steering wheel. It is factory-equipped with air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and push-button start. The OEM stereo with the original 'S2000' cover plate is unmodified. Remote mounted audio controls are located on the perimeter of the instrument cluster. An aero windscreen between the seats mitigates wind buffeting to keep the cabin comfortable while driving at speed.

Instrumentation includes a digital speedometer and tachometer with an 8,900-rpm redline. The current owner has owned the car for six years and has added 1k miles during this time.

The car’s 2.0L 4-cylinder F20C motor is the original and it was factory rated at 240 horsepower at 8,300 rpm with 153 lb-ft of torque, equipped with VTEC, Honda’s Variable Valve Timing & Lift Electronic Control. Maintenance records are documented from new, with the most recent service was being completed one year ago including coolant and brake flush.
