This 1962 Ford Thunderbird hardtop coupe is finished in Corinthian White over a bright red interior and is powered by a 390ci V8 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes reupholstered bucket seats, stainless steel exhaust, and a T-Bird swing away shaft. This Thunderbird is now offered with a clear Iowa title in the seller’s name.
The third-generation Thunderbird underwent styling changes consisting of pointed front fenders, blade-like tailfins, large circular taillights, and unadorned curved flanks. Presented as a low-mileage, garage-kept car, this Thunderbird is finished in Corinthian White with exterior features that include a chrome front bumper, headlight surrounds, side-view mirrors, and windshield trim, as well as a dual exhaust. Thunderbird badging and emblems are retained on various panels, including the hood which features a peaked center scoop with a chrome inlet surround.
Wheels are shrouded by factory covers with the rears partially hidden by fender skirts, and whitewall tires.
A bright red interior features vinyl front buckets and rear bench, chrome trim, a locking center console, a swing-away steering wheel with chrome horn ring, and Thunderbird-embroidered floor mats. Other features include a stock AM radio, chrome window cranks and door handles, and more.
The chrome gauge cluster includes a 120-mph speedometer along with gauges for coolant temperature, fuel level, oil pressure, and voltage. The 5-digit mechanical odometer shows approximately 50,500 miles, True mileage is not known.
Power is provided by the original 390ci V8, and it is mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission.

@wyatt – nice straight car my dad owned one brand new and have aways wanted one . So here are my questions has the vehicle been regularly maintained how is the ac/heater working as it should ? how are tires suspension and brakes? and are there any issues that need to be addressed before driving it any distance say a hundred mile weekend road trip. Thanks for your answers and input in Advance ...
Hey Wyatt Last trip I had it on what about 150 miles and I had zero issues (that was 3 months ago) I have only owned it for about 3 months and it was fully serviced when I purchased it. I have put on about 400 miles total. The car does not have AC and I will have to check the heater for you as I had not needed heat. Tires are brand new and have less then 500 miles on them. I am not aware of anything that would need addressed before a 100+ mile trip. Good fun driver and gets a lot of thumbs up when you are driving.
