This 1978 GMC K15 Royal Sierra pickup is reportedly 1 of 500 Royal Sierras produced. It was restored more than 20 years ago and comes in the "Wideside" body style finished in Mariner Blue over a blue and plaid interior outfitted with a new bench seat, Squarebody Syndicate Series instrument cluster, carpet kit, and more. Power comes from a 350cid V8 with an Edelbrock intake and aluminum heads that sends its output through an automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive transfer case. Equipment includes power disc brakes, power steering, a four-inch lift, and 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. This rust-free truck currently located in Arizona is available now and comes with a clear title in the seller's name.
According to the Service Parts Identification label, this truck left the factory equipped with the Scottsdale equipment group (Z62) and Bonanza Package (YG8), and dressed in solid Mariner Blue (25L) with a chrome grille (V22), Soft-Ray tinted glass (A01), and a chrome rear bumper (VF1). Brightwork is located on the grille, headlight surrounds, body sides, side mirrors, tailgate, and dual exhaust finishers. Yellow "Royal Sierra" script badges are found on the front fenders. Additional features include steps integrated into the sides of the cargo box, a reportedly functional and leak-free vintage sunroof, rear mudflaps, a four-inch lift, and a set of chrome wheels set inside of 35-inch BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Some paint cracking is noted due to the age of the paint
The photo carousel to the right contains pictures showing patina on the roof and the inside of the unlined cargo bed.
According to the seller, the cabin is furnished with new carpeting, a new bench seat with plaid inserts, and new door panels with metallic trim. Equipment reportedly includes functional factory air conditioning, power steering, and a Pioneer head unit connected to a Pioneer subwoofer behind the seat.
The dashboard is also reportedly new and houses a new Squarebody Syndicate Series instrument cluster equipped with a 140-mph speedometer, a 7K-rpm tachometer with a digital clock, and gauges that show the oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and battery voltage. The digital odometer reads 163,981 miles.
Under the hood is a 350ci V8 equipped with Edelbrock aluminum heads and intake manifold that sends its power to the road through a column-shifted automatic transmission and a four-wheel drive transfer case with a floor-mounted shifter. The seller states the truck is reliable and runs excellently.
The seller reports the truck is equipped with Positraction axles and power disc brakes. The photo carousel contains pictures of the new shock absorbers.

@GregTunstall – Any pics of undercarriage, at rocker panels and floor panels? Has any body work been done? ...
Hi, there are pictures of the underside floors, rocker panels and cab supports in the photos. When I did the carpet the floors were solid and rust free like the rest of the truck. It has been an Arizona truck since new and was repainted over 20 years ago.
