This 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu two-door hardtop received a repaint in 2014 and offers rust-free, straight panels, bright trim, a refreshed cabin, and auxiliary gauges. Power comes from a small-block 350ci V8 that has been upgraded with a performance camshaft and aftermarket headers, sending power to the ground via a 3-speed Turbo 350 automatic transmission and a set of chrome Cragar wheels. Finished in Butternut Yellow over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Chevelle is now offered with a clear New Hampshire registration in the seller’s name.
The midsize Chevelle first debuted on the General Motors A-body in 1964, using body-on-frame construction and slotting between the smaller Chevy II and larger full-size offerings. This two-door hardtop from the final year of the first generation was resprayed Butternut Yellow in 2014 over a rust-free body and has been garage-kept since per the seller. The exterior offers nonfunctional hood vents, dual sideview mirrors, bright rocker panel trim, and dual polished exhaust outlets at the rear.
Chrome-finished 5-spoke Cragar wheels are mounted to newer tires, and handling is assisted by power steering and power disc brakes up front. Suspension architecture leverages a 4-link rear.
The cabin is all-black, with reupholstered vinyl bucket seats and door panels matched to the padded dash and carpeting. Amenities include a center console, a push-button radio, a vinyl trunk mat, and a spare tire with associated jack equipment.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer, a column-mounted 8k-rpm tachometer, and a fuel level gauge, with additional gauges added beneath the dash for oil pressure and coolant temperature. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 67k miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The 350ci V8 has been upgraded with a performance camshaft and headers, and the engine bay features chrome valve covers along with a coordinating 327 Turbo-Fire air cleaner. The seller notes that an oil change was performed in the last year. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted 3-speed Turbo 350 automatic transmission.
