1977 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce

This 2-owner 1977 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce has been with the seller for the past 19 years. It was repainted in silver and features a replacement black fabric top over a newer black interior equipped with a wood-rimmed steering wheel, high-mounted manual shifter, roll bar, and Jensen radio with a tape player. Power comes from a rebuilt 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with SPICA fuel injection and gets delivered to the road through a 5-speed manual gearbox and the powder-coated rear wheels. Available now, this Series 2 Alfa Romeo Spider comes with uninstalled new tires and spare parts, technical manuals, service records, and a clear title in the seller's name.

According to the current owner, the car was repainted. It comes dressed in silver with a replacement black fabric top equipped with a plastic rear window. Other features include a black rubber front bumper with amber turn signals, a black roll bar behind the front seats, a black rubber rear bumper, and a single center-exit exhaust finisher. Brightwork is found in areas such as the headlight bezels, windshield frame, mirror housings, door handles, and side moldings. Per the seller, the windshield was replaced in 2004.

Powder-coated 14-inch Cromodora Campanatura wheels set inside of tires with black sidewall lettering connect the car to the road.

The newer interior is furnished with black floorboards, Alfa Romeo-branded floormats, pleated front bucket seats with headrests, door panels with brightwork trim, and dashboard. Equipment includes manual windows, a wood-rimmed 3-spoke steering wheel, a Jensen radio with tape player, and a high-mounted manual shifter.

Round gauge pods behind the steering wheel house an 8k-rpm tachometer and a 140-mph speedometer. According to the seller, the odometer currently shows approximately 145,000 miles. The center stack contains readouts for the fuel level, oil pressure, and water temperature. Inside of the carpeted trunk is a spare wheel and tire as well as an on/off switch for the battery. One of the pictures in the photo carousel to the right shows the condition of the driver-side floorboard.

The front-hinged hood covers the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, which was rebuilt in 2000 and recently received a newer radiator, headers, and SPICA (Società Pompe Iniezione Cassani & Affini) fuel injection. A 5-speed manual gearbox and the rear wheels send the engine's output to the pavement.
