17k-Mile 2005 Aston Martin Vanquish

This 2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S is one of 1,086 examples built throughout the S's production run and is now available with just under 17,000 miles on the odometer. Power is produced by a more potent 5.9L quad-cam V12 paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox with a taller gear ratio and is channeled through Aston Martin's Sports Dynamics package and 19-inch wheels. The car is located in San Carlos, California and offered by the selling dealer with a clean Carfax report and a clear title. 

Finished in Titanium Silver (1348), the car's exterior is based on a monocoque aluminum tub with a carbon fiber transmission tunnel and features a Vanquish S-specific front fascia and a spoiler integrated into the trunk lid. Additional features include vented front quarters and dual exhaust tips.

As part of the Sports Dynamics package included as standard equipment on Vanquish S models, both braking and steering systems are improved with larger calipers and rotors behind a special set of 11-spoke 19-inch wheels. The suspension is updated as well and consists of a coil-sprung independent wishbone system front and rear with anti-roll bars at both ends. 

The interior is outfitted with Obsidian Black leather over the 2+2 seating arrangement and color-coordinated doors panels, dashboard, center console, and Wilton carpeting along with silver accent pieces throughout. Comfort and convenience features include heat and air conditioning, power-adjustable seats, an Alpine stereo system with a 6-disc CD changer, tire pressure sensors, and automatic headlights.

Instrumentation is framed by a 3-spoke steering wheel and consists of a set of white-faced dials for the 210-mph speedometer, 7K+-rpm tachometer, and a combination fuel level/coolant temperature gauge. A digital gear indicator is located between the tachometer and the speedometer, which features a digital odometer that displays 16,722 miles in the above photo, but is reported to currently show 16,811 miles. 

The 5.9L quad-cam V12 produced 520 horsepower when new and came paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox and different gear and axle ratios, all of which enabled the Vanquish S to reach a top speed beyond 200 mph. This particular car has been driven less than 17,000 miles and the CARFAX report shows a problem-free history of regular maintenance and servicing.
