Vehicle Story

This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle received a total body-off restoration and the Agave Green exterior was repainted in 2019. The 1641cc flat-4 dual-port engine has 2,000 miles since its rebuild and is topped by dual Weber 34 carburetors. The engine is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission that was rebuilt in 2020. There is new wiring throughout this VW and the interior has a new headliner, seat upholstery, carpeting, and a Bluetooth retro-style stereo. Located in Hyrum, Utah, this Beetle is available now with records and a clear title in the seller's name.

Finished in Agave Green, the car received a complete body-off restoration and was repainted in 2019. It features front and rear chrome bumpers, VW emblems, hood and body trim bars, and new running boards.

Five-spoke chrome rims, including the full-size spare in the front trunk, complement the lowered stance. New brakes cables and hard and soft brake lines were installed.

The interior has reupholstered black seats, seat belts for the rear bench, a restored pedal cluster, light brown carpeting, a beige headliner, a body-color dashboard with chrome gauge bezels and a passenger-side grab handle, and a Bluetooth retro-style stereo. New parts include the interior sound deadening material and insulation, carpeting, visors, headliner, door panels, and rubber seals.

The Green Agave dashboard features a new 90-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. The seller states that the engine has accrued 2,000 miles since its rebuild.

The 1641cc flat-4 dual-port engine, equipped with a full-flow oil system and filter, has accrued 2,000 miles since its rebuild. It features a pair of Weber 34 carburetors and an electric fuel pump with cutoff relay. New parts include the engine seals, tar board, starter, dry cell battery, and wiring. The 4-speed manual transmission was rebuilt in 2020 and comes paired with a rebuilt transaxle, new shift rod hanger, and rewelded clutch tube. An oil change was performed 300 miles ago.

The underside of the Beetle has been sandblasted and features new heavy-duty floor pans on both sides, heater channels, and one-piece axle boots. The rebuilt front axle beam has 2-inch lowered spindles and 2-inch drop rear spring plates. The suspension includes a new front sway bar and shocks. Pictures of the undercarriage are available in the photo carousel to the right.

Sale includes paperwork from the current owner and photos of the restoration can be found in the carousel.

@surf4cars – Sorry poor typing Who makes the rims ...

I think it would be fine to drive to California. It runs great and drives fine. I have never driven it cross country but I have driven it to a few shows that have been 150 miles one way and it ran great. The wheels I purchased from Cip1. They are part number ACC-C10-6657 - Silver Radar Style Wheels.
