This 2016 McLaren 650S Spider was purchased by the current owner in early 2018, who had its black bodywork and matching retractable hardtop treated with a ceramic coating designed to offer 9 years of protection. The 2-seat cockpit is trimmed with black leather and offers dual climate zones with individual controls on the door panels, a center-mounted touchscreen, and an Active Dynamic Panel that provides the ability to put the powertrain and suspension in Normal, Sport, or Track mode. Under the transparent engine cover is a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 that produces 641 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, which is channeled to the road through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox transmission. Available now, this unmodified and dealer-serviced mid-engine exotic comes with documentation, its dealership window sticker, ceramic coating records, a clean CARFAX report, and a clear title in the seller's name.
The car comes finished in black with a matching power-retractable hardtop that features a heated glass rear window and can be stored away in less than 17 seconds at speeds up to 19 mph. According to the current owner, the body was treated with a ceramic coating in 2018 that is supposed to last 9 years. LED headlights illuminate the road ahead; a transparent engine cover provides a view of the mid-mounted twin-turbo V8, which breathes through dual exhaust outlets set in the rear fascia. Other features include a carbon fiber front splitter, side scoops, and lower rear fascia as well as a rear wing.
When it left the McLaren Production Centre in Woking, Surrey, England, the 650S Spider was equipped with 8.5" x 19" front and 11" x 20" rear lightweight forged alloy wheels. The wheels are wrapped in 235/35/19 Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires.
The dihedral doors swing out and upward to provide access to the cockpit, which is furnished with black carpeting, black leather bucket seats, and coordinating door panels and dashboard. Features include paddle shifters behind the steering wheel, a Meridian audio system, controls on the door panels for the dual climate zones, and a full-length center console between the seats with an integrated touchscreen, storage compartment, and an Active Dynamic Panel that provides the ability to set the powertrain and suspension independently to Normal, Sport, or Track mode.
Instrumentation behind the 3-spoke steering wheel is comprised of a centrally mounted 9k-rpm tachometer with an integrated speedometer flanked by two screens that display the fuel level, coolant temperature, trip computer, and other readouts. According to the seller, there are 3,024 miles on the odometer, 1,600 of which they have added in their 4 years of ownership.
Power is generated by a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V8 with a dry-sump oiling system. Its official output is 641 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque. Sent to the road through a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox, those figures enable the 650S Spider to reach 60 mph in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 204 mph.
The seller reports the car has never been in the rain and sits under a car cover connected to a battery tender. Sale includes documentation, ceramic coating records, and the vehicle's dealership window sticker.

@mikerobertson – Thank you. BTW I’m from KC and went to SME and then KU. I’m sure we have mutual friends. I was the class of 77. My email is [email protected]. I’d really like to see a picture with the top down. My identical twin brother lives in Leawood. He’s a retired LASD Deputy. ...
Thank you. I can take pictures tomorrow afternoon. I don’t have any top down pictures without people in the photo.
