This 1990 BMW 325i is a garage-kept 2-door convertible that has spent the last 10 years with the same owner and is powered by a 2.5-liter I6 connected to a 5-speed manual transmission. It comes finished in red paint with its original manual black fabric convertible top over a black interior equipped with original heated seats, air conditioning, and an aftermarket Alpine radio with Bluetooth. This E30 is now offered with maintenance records, a clean Carfax report, and a clear Pennsylvania title in the seller's name.
The E30 3-Series chassis first debuted in 1990 and was named in Car and Driver magazine's 10 Best list for every year it was on sale. This first-year example was repainted red 10 years ago by the current seller and comes equipped with its factory-issued black manual convertible top. Characteristics include beam headlamps and fog lights mounted up front, chrome bumpers with black moldings, black door handles, and a dual-outlet polished exhaust system at the driver-side rear. According to the seller, this 1990 BMW has been preserved in a heated garage and has a rust-free body and no cosmetic issues.
Factory 14” bottlecap wheels are mounted to 195/65 GENERAL ALTIMAX RT tires on all four corners. Per the seller, the brakes were recently overhauled.
The interior is upholstered with black leather bucket seats, matched to the door panels, carpeting, and a dash with no cracks. Amenities include heated seats, an Alpine radio with Bluetooth, diagnostics computer, air conditioning, heat, power windows, and power door locks.
Factory instrumentation includes a 140-mph speedometer an 7k-rpm tachometer, and accompanying gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 156,500 miles, which is a true reading supported by the CARFAX report.
The 2.5-liter I6 was factory rated to produce 189 horsepower. Per the seller, recent maintenance includes replacing the timing belt and battery. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission with a console-mounted shift lever.

@ChuckM – This IS a nice car, but... The E30 was in production from 1982 through late 1991 (maybe 1985 - 1994 for the convertible) so this really isn't a first year example. The brakes were recently overhauled, but the upper console Brake Lights Warning light is on? It is obviously a convertible, yet the text says "electric sunroof". I'm not seeing the gauge for oil temperature, the gauge below the tach is engine vacuum. "UHR" on the 9-button OBC means that the battery has been flat or disconnected, so that computer needs to be reset. This BMW engine does NOT have a timing belt, it has a timing chain. There is an accessory drive belt. The 1985 - 1993 325i was rated at 168hp, the 1991 - 1995 OBD1 E36 325i had 189hp. That is not the engine in this car. Does the cruise control work? Has the fan blower motor or resistor ever been replaced? Does the aftermarket radio control the antenna up/down? What caused the duct tape residue on both headrests? I know it says rust free, but are there any pictures of the underside? Thanks. ...
The brake warning light goes out on start-up. The battery is disconnected every winter and placed on a trickle charger, so yes, the computer needs resetting. The cruise control works. The fan blower motor has not been replaced. The antenna does operate with radio operation. The duct tape residue can be removed with acetone - it is from when the car was painted. I cannot get undercarriage photos at this time, but the underside is free of rust. Apologies for the late reply.
