1993 Chevrolet C3500 Turbo Diesel

This 1993 Chevrolet C3500 crew cab dually pickup was customized when new by Michigan-based Centurion Vehicles and received accent paint, clearance lights, fog lamps, stainless-steel running boards, and woodgrain interior trim. Its 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 was serviced within the last year and sends power to the four rear tires and Alcoa wheels via a 4-speed automatic transmission. Finished in two-tone black and silver over a six-seat gray cloth interior, this fourth-generation C/K-series C3500 is now offered with a clean CARFAX report and a clear Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.

Identified internally by the GMT400 codename, the fourth-generation C/K pickups were introduced to the marketplace in 1988 on an all-new chassis. This one-ton C3500 from 1993 underwent customization when new by Centurion Vehicles, Inc., which was based in Michigan and authorized by manufacturers to perform pickup customizations and conversions. This rust-free, garage-kept, Pacifica-themed crew cab dually has a long bed and a two-tone black and silver paint scheme with side graphics, fog lamps, clearance lights, running boards, a spray-in bed liner, and a tonneau cover. Towing equipment includes a complete 5th wheel set-up, a gooseneck ball, and a Class III hitch at the rear. The seller states that the driver-side door lock was damaged previously, but a complete new lock cylinder set is included. 

Alcoa polished aluminum 16-inch wheels are wrapped in six tires with black sidewall lettering.

The cab is fitted with gray cloth upholstery and offers seating for six, matched to the door panels, dash, and carpeting. Features include woodgrain trim, a dash cover, an under-dash trailer brake controller, tinted windows, air conditioning, power windows and locks, cup holders, and WeatherTech floor mats. A CB radio is installed but the seller states that it does not transmit. The factory radio only plays through one speaker, but a new, in-the-box Santa Cruz Retro Sound AM/FM/Bluetooth radio with controller box is included in the sale. In addition, the interior lights do not illuminate when the driver’s door is opened, the horn is not working, and there is a tear in the driver's seat.

Instrumentation consists of an 85-mph speedometer, a 5K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. Two additional Banks gauges are mounted beneath the dash for the turbo boost level and exhaust temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 130K miles, which is supported by the CARFAX report.

The 6.5-liter turbodiesel V8 draws power from two batteries. The CARFAX report shows the service performed in September of 2021 included an oil change, a transmission filter change, an air conditioning recharge, and a brake check. The exhaust system was replaced in 2020. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a column-shifted 4-speed automatic transmission.

The CARFAX report shows this pickup is a one-owner vehicle with an accident-free and damage-free history. Per the seller, he purchased the vehicle from the original owner in 2005 or 2006, so he is the second owner.
