Vehicle Story

This 1964 Chevrolet C10 panel truck received a body-off restoration and is powered by a 1975 four-bolt main 350ci V8 Chevrolet engine with aluminum cylinder heads topped with an MSD digital ignition, QTF Slayer carburetor and Hedman headers. The engine is paired with a 700R4 automatic transmission with a stall converter and a General Motors 12-bolt rear end. This Chevy has been upgraded with air conditioning, power steering, and power front disc brakes. Bright green metal flake paint with blue flames adorns the exterior and it rides on 20" Rocket Racing wheels with 245/45R20 tires up front and 275/45R20 in the rear. The custom interior features a tan leather bench seat with brown inlays and wood paneling on the rear cargo area. This C10 panel truck was originally assembled at General Motors' Fremont, CA plant and is available from a dealer with a clear title.

The bright green metal flake exterior is complemented by blue flames with C10 emblems on both front fenders. This panel truck has chrome front and rear bumpers with a Chevrolet embossed front grille. For easy access to the rear cargo area a pair of barn doors swing outward and two chrome exhaust tips peek out underneath the rear bumper.

It rides on 20-inch Rocket Racing wheels with low-profile 245/45/R20 tires up front and 275/45/R20 out back. This panel truck features power steering and power front disc brakes with a CPP master cylinder.

The custom interior has a two-tone brown and tan leather bench seat that's split by a center console with two cup holders and storage compartment. Two-tone brown and tan leather door panels flow to the walls of the rear cargo area and brown leather panels are on the inside of the rear barn doors. This custom C10 panel truck features air conditioning, a Pioneer double-DIN radio with display screen, and a tilt steering column. The lower half of the rear cargo area walls feature metal paneling and the wood floor has metal inlays.

The driver is greeted by a three-spoke wood-trimmed steering wheel with a Chevrolet center cap. Instrumentation is provided by a set of Omega Kustom gauges that features a 140 mph speedometer with a five-digit odometer and a separate 8,000 rpm tachometer. Individual fuel, voltmeter, coolant temperature and oil pressure gauges with chrome bezels are mounted in the dashboard. The true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

Underneath the hood is a 1975 four-bolt main 350ci V8 Chevrolet engine that features aluminum cylinder heads and a single-plane high-rise intake topped with a QTF Slayer carburetor. The engine has been upgraded with an MSD digital ignition, MSD Blaster coil with a billet MSD distributor, Phillips plug wires, and a full serpentine belt system. An aluminum radiator with an electric fan was installed and the exhaust system has Hedman headers with dual Flowmaster mufflers. A column-shifted 700R4 automatic transmission with a stall converter sends power to the General Motors 12-bolt rear end. T

@INOV8 – Very few comments on AutoHunter and sellers don't seem to engage and answer questions like on some of the other auction sites; or do I just not understand the protocol on this site? ...

I was just informed of these questions today. I did not get any notifications that there were questions or I would have responded.

@INOV8 – A few more questions; how long ago was the build? Am I seeing this wrong or are the bushings on the shocks worn out? How does it go down the road, any rattles/shakes/clunks, etc? Will you be putting up a driving and cold start video? ...

I don't have an exact date on when it was built. Roughly 5 years or so. The bushings are not worn out but they are older. They do not appear to have been replaced when it was restored. It goes down the road like a 64 C10 would. It's stock suspension. I do not have a driving video to upload, sorry.

@INOV8 – Really nice ride, one question, I am not a mechanic so any info regarding this would be appreciated; shouldn't the torque converter and flywheel be enclosed? ...

There can be an inspection plate installed. They're relatively inexpensive.
