This 1995 Volkswagen Bus is a Brazilian-market Type 2 Kombi that was imported to the United States in mid-2021 and subsequently received a tune-up to ensure optimal roadworthiness, powered by an air-cooled 1.6-liter inline-4 paired with a 4-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes newer Goodyear tires, replacement carpeting, window curtains, and a step ladder with a luggage rack. Finished in two-tone blue and white over a gray vinyl interior, this Type 2 is now offered with a clear Florida title in the seller’s name.
Marketed worldwide as the Type 2 Transporter, Kombi, or Microbus, the Volkswagen minibus utility vehicle has been around since the mid-1950s and was offered in a variety of body styles. This 1995 Kombi was originally allocated to the Brazilian market where it resided long-term until import to the United States in 2021. The exterior offers a rust-free body that was refinished in two-tone blue and white with black trim accents for the headlight surrounds, sideview mirrors, and window moldings. Features include a luggage rack and a driver-rear-mounted step ladder.
Steel wheels with polished hubcaps are wrapped in Goodyear tires that were installed within the last year.
The three-row interior is accessed via dual doors on the passenger side and fitted with patterned gray vinyl upholstery, replacement blue carpeting, black vinyl door panels, and plaid window curtains.
Instrumentation includes a 150-km/h speedometer and a fuel gauge. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads 107k kilometers, which is a true reading per the seller.
The air-cooled, rear-mounted 1.6-liter inline-4 is believed original to the vehicle and demonstrates small leaks consistent with age. A tune-up was performed in summer 2021, and power is fed to the rear wheels via a floor-shifted 4-speed manual transmission.
The seller has provided two videos demonstrating additional aspects of vehicle condition.
