This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro was restored in 1990 and has a period-correct 396ci V8 engine paired with 2.25-inch headers, a 4-speed manual transmission, and a 12-bolt positraction rear end. The exterior is finished in Rally Green and features SS badging and a black vinyl top over a black vinyl interior. Underneath, the car is equipped with frame connectors and ladder bars. This three-owner Camaro is available now with a clear title in the seller's name.
The Camaro was Chevrolet's introduction to the pony car market as a competitor to the Ford Mustang and was produced from 1967-2002, then revived in 2009. Restored in 1990, this Camaro is finished in its original color of Rally Green accented with chrome bumpers and black SS front fender stripes. It features a cowl induction hood, a black vinyl roof, and SS and 396 badging. The seller states that the vehicle has been garaged since 1990, but needs to be freshened up. There is a small dent on the driver-side quarter panel and a chip on the driver-side front fender.
This Camaro rides on Rallye wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
This Camaro features an interior furnished with black carpeting, door panels, and vinyl seats. The seller states there is a speaker hole in the passenger door and that the carpet is faded.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer with an integrated five-digit odometer that indicates 28,362 miles.
This Camaro is powered by a period-correct 396ci V8 with 2.25-inch headers. The engine is paired with a 4-speed manual transmission and a 12-bolt positraction rear end.
The chassis has been upgraded with frame connectors and ladder bars. Additional images of the undercarriage are provided in the gallery.
Included in the sale of the car is an extra hood, a rear shock mount and a license plate frame. Provided in the gallery is a photo of the car during restoration where the black taillight panel can be seen, leading the seller to believe the car is a factory big block car.

@BigBlockCamaro – Yes there is. No accidents or flood damage. ...
There is a picture of the VIN in the gallery. I have no reason to believe it has ever been in an accident or had flood damage. It was very original when I got it.
@MuscleCarsCanada – Has this car had any accidents or flood damage? ...
Yes there is. No accidents or flood damage.
@MuscleCarsCanada – Did the car have power steering originally? ...
No power steering or AC. Those took power away from the wheels.

@BigBlockCamaro – The block was decked, so there are no numbers. The date stamp on the drivers side is a few months before the car was made, so it is period correct, but not original. I person I bought it from took the original engine to have it built up, but the shop was broke into and it was stolen. They gave him a block that was not a 69. A few years later I found a correct block and had that built for the Camaro. It is 30 over with a 3 angle hardened valve job. It has solid lifters. I have the build sheet that I will supply to the buyer. I have never had a problem with over heating. The rear end could be a 3:73. I was just thinking about that after I replied to the first question. ...
Thank you for the additional information!

What can you tell me about the motor? What are numbers stamped at the back of the block? Do you have a build record? Roller hydraulic cam? Does the engine overheat if idling for 30 minutes after warm? Might the rear ended ratio be a 3.73:1? Thanks!
BID: $31,500
It is a 21 with a 3:72 rear end.
M20,21, or 22 trans? Sounds like a 22. What rear ratio?
