This 1969 Nova is finished in red over black interior with a black vinyl top. Powered by a 350ci V8, a Muncie 4-speed manual transfers power to the 10-bolt rear end. The car rides on 15" Rallye wheels wrapped in white letter tires. Though not a factory SS, the exterior has been upgraded with SS trim pieces, additional features include bucket seats, center console, long tube headers, dual exhaust, and polished accents in the engine bay. Located in Troy, Alabama this 1969 Nova is offered for sale on a clean Alabama registration in the seller's name.
The body is finished in red and features a black vinyl roof that was installed approximately 15 months ago. The car had been refinished in its current shade prior to the seller's acquisition, the seller notes some bubbling on the bottom of both fenders as well as the lower corners of the doors. SuperSport trim components have been added and include badges in the fenders and grille, as well as a black tail panel trim plate with SS emblem. A new front windshield was recently installed and is surrounded by polished trim, which also surrounds the side and rear windows.
The car rides on Rallye wheels with polished center cap and trim rings, wrapped in Mastercraft Avenger G/T white letter tires that are approximately 2 years old. The suspension consists of factory components with stamped control arms, shocks and springs in the front and parallel leaf springs with shocks in the rear.
The interior is fitted with aftermarket bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl with a matching center console mounted in between. A polished Hurst shifter for the Muncie 4-speed is fixed to the floor and capped with a white shift knob, while black carpeting, door panels and headliner round out the interior.
The original wheel has been replaced in favor is a 3-spoke SS style unit. The one-piece gauge cluster consists of a horizontal 120mph speedometer with an analog clock and fuel gauge. An 8k Suntach Tachometer is mounted to the steering column and additional analog gauges providing readouts for oil pressure, water temperature and voltage are mounted below the dash. The factory radio has been replaced with an older aftermarket unit.
The car is powered by a 350ci V8, equipped with an upgraded distributor with vacuum advance and ignition coil, aluminum intake manifold, and chrome valve covers. Additional chrome accents include the air cleaner, alternator shroud, fan shroud, and upper radiator bracket. Long tube headers flow into an aftermarket dual exhaust with polished tips exiting behind the rear wheels. A Muncie 4-speed manual transmission transfers power to the 10-bolt rear end.
Underside photos show it had been previously undercoated and the trunk floor shows signs of a previous spot repair. Photos are available in the gallery.
