This 1996 Ford Bronco XLT 4x4 sport utility vehicle is powered by a 5.8-liter Windsor V8 paired with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. This Bronco has locking front hubs and new Michelin tires all the way around including the spare tire. Recent service includes the installation of a new battery and an oil change. Finished in white over a blue cloth interior, this fifth-generation Bronco is now offered with a clean Carfax report, an owner’s manual, and a clear title in the seller’s name.
When it rolled out for the 1992 model year, the fifth-generation Bronco full-size SUV featured a design and chassis underpinnings derived from the F-150 pickup. The body came in two-door form with a matching hardtop and a drop-down tailgate with a stainless-steel accent panel. This Bronco from 1996 is painted white and has bright trim for the bumpers, grille, badging, side mirror caps, and door handles. The body is rust-free and features a swing-away spare tire carrier at the rear.
The polished aluminum 15-inch wheels are mounted to new Michelin tires and match the rear-mounted spare. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs with ABS.
The interior is furnished with blue cloth bucket seats which are matched to the center console, door panels, dash, and carpeting. Amenities include tinted windows, air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, cruise control, and an AM/FM radio. The photos in the gallery show a crack in the top of the dashboard and wear to certain interior panels.
Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, a 6K-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for the coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer reads 127K miles, which is supported by the Carfax report.
The fuel-injected 5.8-liter Windsor V8 was factory rated at 205 horsepower and received a new battery as well as a recent service in the summer of 2021 that included an oil and filter change, a fluid check, a tire rotation, and body lubrication. Power is sent to all four wheels via a column-shifted 4-speed automatic transmission and a push-button 2-speed transfer case.
The Carfax report shows a vehicle history that is clear of accidents or damage and indicates that the vehicle passed an Arizona emissions check in May of 2020. An owner's manual is included with the sale of the vehicle.
