One-Owner 2016 Porsche Cayman S

This 2016 Porsche Cayman S is finished in White over Black interior. Built at Porsche’s Osnabruck, Germany plant in July 2016, the Cayman S was delivered new to Porsche of Rancho Mirage, where it was purchased by the current owner. Powered by a 3.4L flat-6 engine, power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Optional features included on the 981 are the Premium Package, Sport Chrono Package, Infotainment Package, Sport Suspension, and Sport Design steering wheel. Now offered with limited service records and its original window sticker, the 981 Cayman comes with a CARFAX report sold on a clear California title in the name of its original owner.

Finished in White, the CARFAX shows an accident reported on July 31, 2017, where it was involved in a rear-end collision causing damage to the right rear section of the vehicle, the airbags did not deploy. All repair work was repaired professionally and the exterior overall is in excellent condition, per the seller. Exterior features include body-colored door handles and mirror caps, functional side vents, Porsche Dynamic Lighting System, and integrated front-mounted fog lights.

The car is equipped with optional 20” Sport Techno wheels in Black with a machined face. Pirelli Z-rated P-Zero tires are fitted on all four corners, measuring 235/35 on the front and 265/30 on the rears. All S models feature larger, cross-drilled rotors equipped with red calipers. The Cayman also features the optional Sport Suspension, improving handling with stiffer shocks, springs and sway bars, resulting in a ride height 20mm lower than standard.

The interior features dual power 14-way sports seats upholstered in black leather. Equipped with the premium package, the seats feature both heating and ventilation functions. Additional premium package items include dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, and rain-sensing windshield wipers. The car is also equipped with the infotainment package, consisting of a BOSE surround sound stereo and Porsche Connect Module touch screen media interface with navigation. A center console houses the shifter for the PDK transmission as well as controls for the climate system and seat heating/ventilation.

Ordered with an optional SportDesign steering wheel, the car is also equipped with power steering plus, adjusting the steering ratio to be firmer at higher speeds for stability, and lighter at low speed allowing for easier maneuverability.  The instrument cluster consists of a center-mounted 9k tachometer, with a 190mph speedometer to the left and a 4.6” TFT color screen to the right, displaying information such as engine temperature, oil temperature and more. An analog lap timer is mounted in the center of the dash as part of the Sport Chrono package, which also includes launch control. The digital odometer shows just over 11K miles, all of which have been added by the current owner.

The 3.4L flat-6 mid-mounted engine is good for 325 horsepower, paired with a dual-clutch 7-speed PDK transmission with dynamic mounts. When utilizing launch control, the car is factory rated with a 0-60 of 4.6 seconds. An October 2019 servicing includes the Caymans 20K servicing and a brake fluid flush.
