Vehicle Story

This 1977 Ford Bronco Ranger has been with the seller for 13 years and comes equipped with its reportedly original 302ci V8 Ford engine with upgrades and an automatic transmission. Features include 4-wheel drive, power steering, power brakes with front discs, aftermarket fender flares and aluminum wheels, a bikini top, and an aftermarket digital radio. Refinished in metallic emerald green over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Bronco is available now and comes with an owner’s manual, service records, receipts, and a clear Florida title.

Under previous ownership, the exterior was repainted emerald green metallic. White aftermarket fender flares have been added. A chrome front bumper with over-riders is mounted below a silver grille with dual headlamps and integrated turn signals. A chrome rear bumper is located below the Ford-embossed tailgate, swing-away spare tire carrier, and taillights. The tire mount does not come with a spare. According to the seller, there are some rust spots and blemishes.

A set of aftermarket aluminum 8-hole wheels are wrapped in raised-white-letter Bronco Radial LT tires. The locking hub assemblies can be seen in the center of the front wheels.

The front bucket seats are covered in black vinyl. The rear bench seat consists of a black bottom and a green seatback. A vinyl mat covers the floor as well as the rear wheel wells, tailgate, and cargo area. An aftermarket black bikini top is mounted to a black roll bar. The steel dashboard is refinished in metallic emerald green to match the exterior. The controls for the headlights, wipers, ignition, cigarette lighter, climate control, and aftermarket digital radio can be seen in the center of the dashboard. An ashtray and locking glovebox can be seen on the right. The top is covered with a black vinyl pad. The black steering column is topped with a 3-spoke aftermarket steering wheel with a leather grip. A video with additional details can be found in the carousel to the right.

The round 100-mph speedometer has integrated alternator, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure gauges. The seller reports the 83,302 miles shown on the 5-place odometer are accurate.

The reportedly original engine is a 302ci V8 backed by an automatic transmission. Upgraded parts include body-color finned aluminum Edelbrock valve covers, a matching open-element Edelbrock air cleaner housing, and an Edelbrock AVS2 4-barrel carburetor. The power brake master cylinder, power steering assembly, washer fluid bottle, and coolant overflow reservoir can be seen under the hood. According to the seller, no service is due at this time. This Bronco recently received a full tune-up and a new carburetor and distributor.

The solid-axle front and rear suspensions and frame are matte black. The front axle has a chrome differential cover. The seller states this Bronco originally came equipped with dual fuel tanks. One fuel tank has been removed but could be reinstalled if needed. The removed fuel tank is not included with the sale.

An owner’s manual, service records, and receipts are included with the sale of the vehicle.
