This 1972 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is powered by a 1600cc flat four engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. Features include independent front and rear suspension, manual front disc brakes, an aftermarket Pioneer radio with a CD player, and a pop-up sunroof. This Bloodorange classic VW 2+2 with a black vinyl interior is available now and comes with a clean Auto Data Direct report, VW dealers pamphlet, parts and restoration catalog, and clear title from the selling dealer.
The body is finished in Bloodorange and accented with chrome and stainless trim, emblems, and handles. A chrome bumper with bumper guards is mounted below the headlights and amber turn signals. The dual exhaust pipes exit below the rear chrome bumper with bumper guards. A chrome exterior mirror and chrome antenna are mounted on the driver’s side. A manual pop-up sunroof, pop-out quarter windows, and a rear window with a defroster complete the exterior.
A set of steel 8-hole wheels with chrome VW hub caps are wrapped in blackwall radial tires.
The interior features front bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl and a matching rear seat. The door shells are finished to match the exterior and have black vinyl door panels that contain manual window cranks, armrests, accessory pockets, and chrome door exit handles. A black 4-spoke steering wheel tops the steering column. A floor shifter, an emergency brake handle, and heater control levers separate the bucket seats. Black seat belts can be found at all seating positions. A white pinhole vinyl headliner with matching visors surrounds a glass pop-up sunroof. A gray carpet kit covers the floorboards and extends into the rear window deck and the trunk compartment, which contains a spare with a matching cover and a jack assembly.
The steel dash is finished in black and topped with a crack-free dash pad, according to the selling dealer. A round 120-mph speedometer with a 5-place odometer reading 23,636 miles can be found to the left of the in-dash clock with an integrated gas gauge, accessory lighter, aftermarket Pioneer radio with CD player, and locking glovebox.
This rear-engined Karmann Ghia is powered by an air-cooled 1600cc flat-four engine backed by a 4-speed manual transmission. A doghouse, closed-element air cleaner, coil, dual-port intake, and single carburetor complete the engine.
The front and rear independent suspension setups wear black paint and the floor pans are covered with undercoating. Additional photos can be found in the carousel to the right.
A Volkswagen dealer directory and parts catalog are included with the sale of the vehicle.

@2006derald – How well does it run ? ...
The Ghia runs beautifully. No issues at all. Engine runs smooth and strong, shift patterns are tight, suspension is tight and brakes are strong and stops in a straight line. Turn-Key ready.
