This 1968 Ford Mustang went through a recent restoration that involved mechanical work, an exterior repaint, and interior upgrades including a Pioneer CD stereo. A rebuilt 289ci V8 that has reportedly covered approximately 10K miles since being overhauled sends power to the rear end via an automatic transmission. Braking has been enhanced with four-wheel discs. Finished in metallic blue with metallic gray striping over a black vinyl interior, this first-generation Mustang is now offered with a clean Florida title.
Building on the original 1965 pony car design, the 1967 Mustang received a redesign with exterior trim changes, chrome rocker panel treatment, and concave taillights,. Side markers were added the following year. This 1968 Mustang coupe has a rust-free body that was repainted metallic blue with metallic gray stripes as part of a restoration that was completed in 2021.
Five-spoke polished aluminum Ridler wheels are wrapped in newer Starfire tires. Handling is assisted by power steering. Braking comes from upgraded four-wheel disc brakes.
The new black interior features vinyl bucket front seats, a matching rear bench, and color-keyed door panels, dashboard, carpeting, and floor mats. Amenities include a Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo, 3-spoke steering wheel, and plaid vinyl trunk mat. The seller has posted a video of the car's interior below.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for the fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reads 63K miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.
The rebuilt 289ci V8 has reportedly been driven 10,000 miles since being overhauled. Power is fed to the rear wheels via a console-shifted automatic transmission. One of the videos below shows the engine idling.

Do you have a better video of the car running?
@Collector – What modifications have been completed on the engine. Please name some. How much horsepower is it running? Did I see headers in one picture? Finally can I get a better picture of the engine compartment? If those questions are answered you may get more money for the car ...
Hello, the engine was rebuilt. No modifications. Yes this car have headers. The car was never dyno tuned.
@MuscleCarsCanada – Pictures of the underneath is very important. I have seen beautiful paint jobs with everything on top looking great but a mess with floors and trunk panels butchered. This car is older than my wife, and I don’t expect new. Lol. So without coming there I need to let the camera be my eyes. ...
