Vehicle Story

This 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1 SportsRoof tribute features a hood scoop, color-keyed sport mirror caps, rear window louvers, Flowmaster mufflers, and Magnum 500-style chrome wheels with reportedly new Cooper tires. Its 302ci V8 is outfitted with headers and an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor and sends power to the ground through an automatic transmission. Finished in red with black accent striping over a white leather interior, this first-generation Mustang is now offered by the selling dealer with a clear title.

In the late 1960s, the Mustang received updates that added both width and length to the overall dimensions and gave it a more aggressive stance. For the 1970 model year, the nose received a wider grille and returned to using single headlights. This 1970 Mustang was repainted red with black striping and customized as a Mach 1 tribute vehicle featuring a hood scoop, rear window louvers, and a dual exhaust system at the rear.

Magnum 500-style 15-inch wheels are wrapped in reportedly new Cooper tires.

The interior is furnished with white leather seating tied in with the door panels and contrasting black materials for the lap belts, center console, dash, and carpeting.

Instrumentation includes a speedometer accompanied by auxiliary gauges. The 5-digit mechanical odometer reportedly shows 68K miles, although true mileage on the chassis is unknown.

The 302ci V8 has been upgraded with headers and an Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a console-shifted automatic transmission.

The exhaust system is equipped with Flowmaster mufflers.

A $350 dealer fee will be added to the sale price.

This is an awesome Mach 1 as a tribute to perfection. With Spring car shows around the corner, this will catch many eyes.
