This 1998 Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster has only 5,168 miles since new and is powered by an 8L V10 engine producing 450hp and 490lb-ft of torque backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. Features include power windows and locks, air conditioning, CD player, power 4-wheel anti-lock brakes, rack and pinion steering, polished aluminum wheels, independent front and rear suspension, driver and passenger air bags, fog lamps, color-keyed rearview mirrors, leather interior, owner’s manual, removable color- keyed roof panel, and soft top. The body is finished in original vapor silver (Code PA9) and is still wearing all the original emblems and trim. The outer rearview mirrors are color-keyed to the silver body as well as the removeable roof panel. A color-keyed front bumper with integrated fog lamps and turn signals is mounted just below the hood air intake and flush mounted headlamps. The bucket seats are covered in original black leather separated by a black console that houses the 6-speed manual transmission shifter, emergency brake, and ash tray. The black color is carried onto the door panels with integrated power locks. An original black dashboard with passenger side air bag is home to the climate controls, power window switches, factory AM/FM Cd player, and passenger air bag on/off switch. An original tilt column is topped with a 3-spoke leather wrapped air bag equipped steering wheel with a Viper logo. Black carpet covers the bottoms of the door panels as well as the entire cabin floor with black carpeted Viper logo mats located in the front foot wells.
A 200-mph speedometer with a 6-place odometer reading 005168, and a 7000-rpm tachometer are mounted just ahead of the steering wheel, and coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage gauges are mounted in the center of the dashboard above the climate control vents.
An 8.0L V10 engine producing 450hp and 490lb-ft of torque is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. All factory emissions control devices and original air intake are in place as well as the power brake master cylinder, washer fluid, and coolant overflow bottles. The red Viper logo valve covers and the red intake assembly completes the engine. The original double A-arm independent front suspension and the double A-arm independent rear suspension can be seen mounting the limited slip rear axle. The 13” power front and rear disc brake rotors provide the stopping power. A power rack and pinion steering is standard on the 1998 Viper.
